The title song off the album Shogun is their best song I'm sure most would agree it is 12 minutes long but its a masterpiece, also The Shadow of the Abattoir off their new album is incredible
Great reaction!! I love Trivium. I highly recommend you a reaction on their song "Caustic Are The Ties That Bind" (the studio album version, not live). My absolute favorite song by them and also one of their most underrated ones, imo. I think both of you could like that one a lot.
Shogun is definitely an epic album. The song Shogun is the last track on that album and it is a masterpiece. I also recommend checking out the song Throes of Perdition from the Shogun album.
Shogun is more of a mix of Thrash ideas with some of that metalcore sound in my opinion, I'd probably refer to it as simply "metal" or "modern metal", but yes it is fantastic & a very unique sounding record....even to this day. 👍🤘
thank you ryan there old stuff is really good. but i think they got better as the older and they sound better since alex came to the band in my opinion. but of course i can listen to them all day long and never get tired of them..

I'm tired of everyone calling them a Metalcore band when they are not. They start it off as a thrash metal band mimicking Pantera and Metallica, then evolved into just a metal band using different styles of metal in each of their albums and songs.
Guys you need to check out the band called W.A.S.P. they got the best riffs beside skid row from the 80s. Start with Sleeping In The Fire, L.O.V.E. Machine and Wild Child. ITS A MUST

Yes they can pull it off, very much so & for many years now. This is leagues above The Warning in terms of musicality/instrumentation I'm sorry to tell you. They're a solid rock/hard-rock band, but they ain't got nothing on the technicality & intensity of Trivium. (or most metal bands for that matter)
Disagree. Personally, I think Trivium is better than The Warning. Check out Trivium's Ascendancy album, or even Shogun, if you want to see some amazing work. And, fuck yeah, they're amazing live. One of my favorites to see live.

One of my favourite "new" metal bands from the last 20 years. Second guitarist does great harsh vocals live when needed.
