@@Uhr24 FYI I'm using a ramp texture projected from the side onto geometry as a nifty way of generating zdepth for displacement maps. Works incredibly well.
Found the way. Thr is this option called coordinate space in Cell noise. Which was on object mode so i change to pref(in my case this worked). Although thr are more modes like uv, world etc. That will activate Rest position.

Skip to 7:30 if you want 3D Projection Textures. Everything before that is procedural texturing.

what if we dont want that texture to animate?
then you need to bake the texture right onto the object.
