Man, your pizzas look incredible! And those poppers? I live in Pasadena, but I'm gonna trek over to you guys soon to indulge. Great stuff! Much success to you.
You are the pizza queen 🙌🏻 Also, I really love how you talked about the health benefits of refraining from dairy. Your videos have always been entertaining, but to see some health advice thrown in there too is icing on the cake.
thank you so much! I hope to add more health snippets from now on..which was always the plan but I always forget because I have so much going on when I'm filming.
There’s a pizza spot in Glendale called “pizza boy”, it’s locally owned and operated and they have many vegan options, including the best garlic knots I’ve tried, vegan ranch as well
Vegan pizza can still raise your LDL cholesterol and triglycerides. Vegan Zombie has some content about his experience with high cholesterol as a vegan. It's the carbs, sugar, triglycerides, trans fats and saturated oil. I think fermented dough helps especially sourdough or whole wheat, and if you make vegan pizza at home you could make it really healthy.
Hot Tongue should have been visited too!!!! That's one of my faves along with Pizzanista. I'll have to hit up Amaro and Prime now though! Glad Prince St added a proper vegan option. When I had it in NY, they just put sauce only and said that's vegan. XD
Cheese doesn't just have casein, it's casomorphins, which stimulate the same receptors that opiates do! There's an Honest Ads which explores that a bit more for the curious. I don't live in SoCal, but when visiting I have tried Hot Tongue (which I think used to be all vegan, but the last time I visited there they had some dairy as well, so be advised) and Forever pie (which I am pretty sure was and still is 100% vegan).
@@ratedvfood If you do a trip out to Nashville I can recommend the best places and foods to try, there’s more vegan options than you’d expect for a southern state
Personally, I'm a fan of thin-crust pizza with lots of veggies & minimal to no cheez. The last one I had had spicy kale, caramelized red onions & sundried tomatoes & a very small amount of good quality vegan cheez. That was at a Vegfest. Unfortunately, the vendor is from out of town.
12:49 love that sign! I don’t understand the need for ranch with pizza. Keep it simple. I’m going to be in DTLA and will check out at least 2 of these places. Great video btw 😊
Girl you’re missing out on “Hot Tongue” that’s EASILY the best vegan pizza in ALL OF LA. No 🧢. Can’t miss. Make sure to grab a side of their ranch too.
I always preface my comments on vegan food videos by saying I'm not vegan. Not even vegetarian. I do understand what she is saying about dairy causing problems but for me I don't think it is about the caisian. I just love as a foodie the funky flavor of good cheese (hello blue cheese and feta). I have had the most amazing nachos of my life that were vegan with a cashew based cheese sauce. But non-nut??? Honesty I often get vegetarian pizza as it is tends to be more inventive but if I get vegan pizza I want it to be sans cheese. I just have never tasted a vegan cheese other than that cashew sauce that I can stomach.
Hi! I totally understand that, thank you so much for sharing. Some vegan cheeses that aren’t nut based are not easy to get used to especially if you still eat cheese. I’m happy you were open to trying it though and I feel you on the flavors of blue cheese! So good and I’m happy some vegan brands are nailing it now 😀 maybe try Love Amaro .. my friend who has the same opinion of vegan cheese like you actually enjoyed it so you might too :)
Been vegan for 8 years, can confirm, there is NO good vegan cheese. They just can't get the TEXTURE right. You'll never find vegan cheese that stretches like normal cheese and of course, never completely tastes the same. The non stretch really sucks, always goopy.
I’m liking Miyokos liquid mozzarella so far. Used it for mac n cheese, pizza, lasagna and eggplant parm. I would recommend it for everything except the mac& cheese.
I really love your channel. As a long time vegan, it's good to know where all the vegan friendly shops are around the world. There's a place here in New Jersey called Urban Vegan, if you're in Jersey, the vegan philly cheesesteaks are on me. Safe travels, kiddo.
Amazing video, Thank you so much for coming to our pizzeria
Thank you so much for being a part of it and for making AMAZING PIZZA!
Can't wait to come try y'all when I'm in LA next! Your pizza looks AMAZING!

Alternative title: pizzan't or NY style
Look up focaccia, that's more similar the so called deep dish 🤷♂️
Deep dish pizza is just savory carb cake. And that's not even close to a Margherita
Why don't you talk about the animals when talking about reasons for eating vegan cheese?
It’s a good reason but I simply forgot to mention it. I have a lot of my mind when I record these videos. thanks.

When will companies actually make a vegan cheese that melts like real cheese? Get it together, people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
