I’ve learned so much from just this ONE tutorial, I think your brilliant, so glad I found you, I’m now going to have too much sugar (not) in video form of course! Love Jan xx
I’m going to be trying both candied and caramel apple recipes that you showed. They look delicious! I have made candied apples once before and I loved some of your tips because mine were great except they started getting large bubbles and there was some crystallized sugar in the mixture, so I hope this time they will be great. I would love to try slices but I am scared they will not stick to the apple slices
Hope you like them!! For the full recipe and some more tips and tricks definitely check out my blog post sugargeekshow.com/recipe/homemade-caramel-apple-recipe/
After you dip the apple into the carame, hold the apple upside down for 15 to 20 seconds and you wont have the big blob at the bottom of them. The 1st great tip is to have the ceramel at 210ish when you 1st start dipping!
I'm new to making Carmel apples once your done putting everything on the apples do you put them in the refrigerator or leave them out when should I bag them love ❤ your channel
Remembering having another drip hot caramel on my hand then she pulled it off-skin and al. Lol. Caution: don’t work with those that do not know. Lol Well done vid. Informative, detailed. Just great! Oh, no I only think of making but never do. Lol

Hey I was trying to find a caramel cake filling recipe in your videos, do you happen to have a caramel filling recipe to put between chocolate cake layers? Thank you 🥰
I’m trying to find the ingredients and quantity for the coconut cake and I can’t find it anywhere. Sorry to be posting on this site but I didn’t know where else to go to communicate with you. I don’t know how you could make a cake and do a video without a complete content......
I would like to make the caramel part ahead of time but heat it up for my grand kids to make their own. How long does the caramel keep after cooking and can it be stored in the fridge? If so how should it be heated up?
Hello everyone I wanted to know what size pot do you think she is using in this video. I am not getting a response or her website or the comment board. TYIA!!
Can you add black gel color to the caramel for black caramel apples for Halloween? If so, do you add when you add yhe vanilla? Cannot wait to try this recipe! Thank you
What if you don't have a thermometer 😅 I should have used white sugar I guess so I could see the color change but prefer it with brown and was hoping my point and shoot thermometer for my baby would work but that puppy maxes out at 190f... guess I'll let it go about 30 mins and hope for the best🙈
Preppy Kitchen has a recipe like that! It’s a cupcake recipe but it’s basically the same as cake. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 30-35 minutes! Here you go: th-cam.com/video/z_0DpOgcdXo/w-d-xo.html
I'm guessing you needed to wash your apples firmly in hot water to remove the wax coating. Other videos suggest dipping apples for 10 secs in almost boiling water and dry briskly. Let cool.

Ha I thought the same! I had to go get my own mini cauldron for this as well 🧙🏼
Loved the end result. Thanks for the tips. I now feel brave enough to attempt. Would love to see a petite four tutorial 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻.

I like mines covered in toffee or crushed up snicker bars. The best on the granny Smith apples 🍏

Where are the measurements for the ingredients?
I boil mine for about 10 seconds, then scrub them with veggie wash from Trader Joe’s. It works🤷🏾♀️
Good idea!
How different is this from dulce de leche?
This is caramel apples not dulce de leche

Can’t decide whether to make the candy apples or the caramel apples! Any recommendations? Haha
Both!! The candy are prettier in my opinion, but you can’t go wrong with delicious caramel too
What happens if u add salted butter
