If there is one food should be a part of everyone diet, it is this golden nectar called ghee. But which ghee do you use? Amul ghee, Patanjali’s cow ghee, Gowardhan, milkfood, Nestle, Aashirwaad or organic India. What did the lab results show when these most popular brands of ghee were tested? Basically, which is the best ghee in the Indian market? To find out, I have researched and broken down all the ghee available in the Indian market into 4 major categories.
00:38 - CATEGORY 1 - I call them the fake ghee. Popularised due to their extremely cheap rates and unethical marketing. These are nothing but partially hydrogenated oils, probably the worst cooking mediums. If you care even a little about your health, stay away from them.
00:59 - CATEGORY 2 - This category includes the ghee which a majority of Indian population consumes. The very first question that arises is about the possible adulteration in these commercial brands. The problem about this ghee lies in two things. Overall, all the ghee packs in this category are far from the best. They aren’t really ghee in true sense.
00:28 - CATEGORY 3 - The ghee in this category in this category is definitely better than the ones discussed in the previous categories but is still not the best. Even here, the problem lies with the breed of cows and the method of production of ghee. Moreover, they are charging a premium price for a ghee which is not really premium.
    03:06 - Honourable mention
03:30 - CATEGORY 4 - This category includes the best ghee in the Indian market. This is the authentic ghee as described in our Ayurvedic scriptures. It is the ghee in this category which is known for its miraculous properties. It is this ghee which doesn't let stubborn fat sit on the body. It is this ghee which kills toxins in the body. It is this ghee which has numerous benefits when used both internal and external.

According to Ayurveda, Ghee should be prepared from curd made of pure desi cow milk using Bilona method and not malai. Interestingly, this is one product which I would not suggest that you make at home unless you are following the bilona process. Eat less but eat authentic.

cow and buffalo ghee mein bahot farak hai. Buffalo k milk mein fat bahot nikalta hai so its economical. Cow milk mein fats bahot kam hote hai and if you go for desi cow milk uska toh milk paani jaisa hota hai very lite. 1 kg ghee nikalne k liye bahot saara litre milk lagta hsi. so its very much costly. Also buffalo bahot dudh deti hai ek time pe. Desi cow uska adha bhi nahi deti. Cows ka khana pina bahot kharcha hota hai but milk kam aata hai and fats bhi. Agar koi saste mein a2 ghee de raha hai then its NOT at all pure

Sir With due respect I would like to ask if just reading ingredients and the printed fact can we make the decision on the quality of the ghee?
If i put a badge with name Amitabh Bacchan do i become one
The answer is a big NO
I think you should have visited the farms of the Ghee companies first hand and seen their farms and infrastructure Ghee making and packaging. Then you should have tested all the Ghee in a Government certified laboratory without revealing the name of brand for purity and ingredients etc..
If i print Gir Cow and say Bilona method etc and start selling Normal cow ghee at exorbitant prices where are the check and balances?
With all these checks and parameters the video would have been more meaningful
Even after seeing the video How do I trust that the costliest Ghee is real Gir Ghee by Bilona method
Please make a New Video with all these parameters and even more so that we users can make a more informed decision

thats half truth, most of them don't understand the difference between desi and videshi.
there are many brands of cow which give more milk.
      swadeshi: nearest available desi cow.
desi: within country, may be from another state.
videshi: from outside of our country.

I live in village so i can tell better about the current scenerio desi cows are left by most of the people in villages just becuase they give less milk and for the limited period of time that's why they raise jersey cow for more profit because most of them sell its milk. Its really sad to see them roaming here and there.

My friend's uncle is living in the Gir village of Gujrat. I went there personally to check their cows and process of making ghee. I got highly impressed with theirs values and quality of ghee they make. They make ghee at home from curd by hand churning it as per "Bilona" method. I am eating that ghee since then. They are giving it at reasonable price. All fit tuber family should give it a try.

Sometimes I too feel like falling for this type of health, food, supliments etc. related videos and start getting inspired to follow them. But when I travel deep into the Indian villages I feel amazed at how the 50 plus, only-skin-on-bone women carry 40/50 kg of dry wood bundles on their head and travel miles on bare foot. And then every such video on you tube seem to be meaningless. But of course let me mention here that I am a great fan of your videos and very much appreciate the hard work that go into making them. This video is also no exception and is wonderful in itself.
