Osvaldo is a people pleaser. He’ll say anything to get votes, but he will also switch his stance or opinions easily. The guy is a pushover, like Slacks. He doesn’t have what it takes to fix the city’s many problems right now.
How is slacks a people pleaser, yes he considers himself that but does he do anything for the people... no, osvaldo maybe isn't someone in any institution such as gang life and policing to have authority on that side of roleplay but is definitely someone who will actually listen, unlike everybody else In high up government positions in the city, I think pushovers a bit harsh.
Silly, goofy, but the guy can actually roleplay seriously when he needs to, nothing like slacks who roleplays as himself, I don't think I've ever seen saab ever create a short term character for the state of roleplay, whereas osvaldo has multiple times from what I've gathered.

That was hilarious but feels like osvaldo didn't really understand what koil was talking about, I think he could be a fun mayor but right now the city needs someone who really understands policies, laws and the Constitution... Hopefully he becomes mayor one day when everything is sorted out but don't know if he's an ideal candidate rn.

@@TheHollomap I don't disagree, but agreeing and understanding are two different things. It seems the new mayor will need to truly understand the law to effectively bring positive change to the city.

i think Osvaldo would be the perfect deputy mayor rn and then he can become mayor after Nino fixes alot of things the upcoming term imo
Nino - Mayor, Kit - Chief of staff, Osvaldo - Deputy, Roman Atlas - Head of BAR, Bailey - Chief justice would be a perfect council rn and then idc about PD liaison and healthcare liaison

Osvaldo deserves a place of authority to at least prove himself. I'm not sure if it should be mayor yet because he would be a really fun mayor, but right now, with all the drama. We need someone to put the swrver back together.
Here's the thing if you can explain mayoral duties to osvaldo in a way he understands and tell him all he has to do is ask the state for permission first and write the legislation that he wants passed I'm sure he'll do it and probably well. The problem I see is that he's gonna get distracted trying to please the people with businesses and all the other responsibilities. It's kinda like in fable 3 you make all these deals and agreements to help the people but there's something uglier at the top that no one told ya about and that's the shit show the city is currently in. If you play a second time and you know that there's that monster coming up you can focus on what is best in the end even if you don't get to all the promises you made along the way.
What about being Osvaldo’s chief of staff? He’s a bit silly, but don’t hold that against him. His heart is in the right place and if he has someone who can actually give him good advice, especially that first term, he’d be a cool mayor.
