I’m glad koil is actually trying to make changes in rp rather than just making new rules for the server. It’s given so many people rp, this past couple of weeks has been great on the server
Agree! Ngl was burning out on NP for the first few months. Now things are fun as ever! Actual tension with awesome storylines between different gangs and not just CG beefing with the city
Yea, I think there was a case or two where judges threw out the case on the grounds that only the police can push criminal charges, but naturally if the police are the ones that commit the crime you can't exactly expect them to charge a fellow cop with a crime even though it should technically and legally be possible. So its kind of weird that Angel had to be given this role. If I had control of how this role worked, I would treat it as if Angel had the authority to look through all PD documents in an attempt to find more evidence to backup another lawyer's case against the PD or an officer. This would explain why a Judge had to be given special authority, as having access to such documents is a security issue. In reality I suspect that giving her this role was done to force Angel into not being able to act as a Judge on cases brought against the PD, so if Crane thought that Angel was biased against the PD then he has effectively neutered her ability to punish the PD. Either that, or Crane trusts Angel and wants to force all complaints against the PD through a funnel that the DOJ has control over and can do their best to stifle. Its honestly really sad how Nathan is letting his PD bias from his character Declan Crane cross over into Alan Crane. He spends the majority of his time having fun with friends on his cop character. Just look at how adamantly he defended the cops as Alan talking to Nino when writing the FIOA legislation, saying that they needed a lot of time to write their reports. In reality 48hours is a generous time to give cops to write reports considering that the people being charged will likely be out of prison before the report gets done. In a city that moves this fast, the cops should really only have 2 hours to finish up the report, and if they don't have the evidence or witness statements ready then they shouldn't be pressing the charges and instead put out a warrant for arrest after the report is done. No one is expecting perfect reports, just a quick paragraph or two, and if you can't do that then you shouldn't be a cop. Giving cops time to write the reports only encourages them to forget key details and giving them time for them to construct lies to cover up corrupt behavior.

So they gave special prosecutor to the biggest pro cop judge. Seems smart
