This look like the cast who performed in San Diego, CA in January 2024. Annnd special guest star Wayne Brady as The Wiz. He was phenomenal, and can dance his can off. Light on his feet. And in excellent shape. Wearing old school LL Cool J Adidas jogging suit. Wonderful show 🕺🕺🕺🕺😊
@@kallen868 Yes, there are. They're supposed to be, anyway. The Wiz's version of the lollipop guild are called munchkins. They appear with Miss One (Addaperle/good witch of the north) The flying monkeys appear with Evillene. Both are in the Broadway AND movie versions.
These costumes are worse than the costumes we had when we did this play at my high school. Happy to see Deborah Cox though. Great casting for that role.
The play was Excellent. I would recast Dorothy though. She needed to be a stronger vocalist in a cast of Giants. Deborah Cox 👀 Avery Wilson 🗣️ that boy SANG and Wayne Brady. She did not line up. Sorry 🥳🥳🥳. It was great 👍🏽
