i like to think that its just a really great cast stuck in a really bad movie
noire min yeah, I feel like they changed a bit too much from the book but in the small details. And while that’s usually necessary, I think some of them made the movie miss the mark a bit. Like Bella in the book has more personality, Edward is supposed to look boyish, and so on. Me and my mom were talking about it and honestly (no offense to the actor he’s great) I think the actor who played Stephen in the vampire diaries would’ve been the perfect fit for Edward from the book

Yeah! That’s one of the amazing things about this movie! Every teen character acts like a believable teenager. I’m other shows like riverdale all I see is a bunch of 25 year olds pretending to be teens but when I watch twilight I get nostalgic about my high school days cuz I see my dumbass cringy teen self in them and it’s heartwarming to see a movie where teenagers are simply teens. The first thing twilight got wrong is how fascinated anyone was with Bella
That's in the book though. People didn't flock to her because she was interesting. Far from it. She was quiet and awkward, not to mention that she hated being in Washington because everything was so different from Arizona. I live in Arizona, but I previously lived in Washington for 4 years, so I get it. She was just a gloomy, depressing person who hated her situation and was altogether boring because she kept to herself. The only reason why people in the book even took notice of her was because she was from a vastly different state, was the mysterious daughter of the local police chief, and was the "outsider" who didn't know how things worked. Forks is a small town, and having an "outsider" come to stay was suuuper interesting to the friendlier, "let's be insta friends!" people at school. I get it. Put yourself in those kids shoes. If someone appeared out of the blue halfway through the school year and attended your small high school in your small town, you would be curious about them at the very least. This "outsider" is the one person you didn't know growing up, whereas all the other kids went to the same elementary school, middle school, and high school.

I've been searching good movies to watch during this quarantine and I founded lots of movies where he appears, I watched High Life two nights ago and OMG HE LOOKS SO HANDSOME. He's beyond attractive in that film, and trust me I also grew up finding him quite ugly (I perfectly understand people's different taste) but now I see him as a really hot man!
