I never planned on making Halo-Halo as part of my "Region 7 List"…
But then I met Uncle Edgar…
Simply put. This man is Amazing! He instantly brightened up my day with his enthusiasm and Smile! No wonder his Halo-Halo is popular in Siquijor because it is made with such passion and happiness!
I was so blessed to not only meet this man randomly on a Halo-Halo mission… but to have been invited back by him and his lovely wife May for a chance to make my own Halo-Halo! Super Special Kulas Halo-Halo!
This is my super happy Halo-Halo making experience!
I am stoked I now know how to make this delicious Filipino snack/dessert… which literally translates to "Mix-Mix"!
