You are the best on you tube and I always listen you your suggestions on tools from micro mark and Midwest
Absolutely looking great 👍 Ron
those delicate personnel platforms came out awesome.. using the tweezers as a helping hand served you well. This project build has been very enjoyable and educational to watch. Looking forward to part four to see it all come together as a final. As always thank you for sharing Ron.
Ron, I especially appreciate seeing your high quality scratch/bash builds _because_ you are doing N. Thank you.
Ron, looking great! Can't wait till part 4!
Very nice, you did a great job on all those small pipes.
very cool video. i love industrial facilities
Looking great Ron! Nice to see you getting back to this project, I have a few of those myself that need attention. Can’t wait to see the final. Stay safe.
Yes, I could probably work for 3 months just finishing old, unfinished projects.
Really nice build Ron.
Mike
Thanks Mike. Good to hear from you.
Looks good Ron, looking foward to seeing it all come together....thanks for sharing....Jack 👍
Very nice good looking structure 👍🚂
Great build Ron. Super informative video, full of lots of tips.
Great job Ron, it looks awesome. Thanks for the tips and tricks you have included. Thanks for sharing and stay safe. Ken
well done. looks fitting for a modern layout scene
I like the idea of using plastic straws for industrial pipes! Never thought of using them, thanks for the idea!!! I’m alway on the lookout in everyday objects to use on my layout! I’ve collected several of my two-year-old’s applesauce pouch lid tops to use as industrial building vents. They are the perfect size for N scale!
Looks great, Ron!
Thank you.
Thanks, Ron for another great build video. Thanks also for the coffee shops that provide us with those wooden and plastic stirring strips that are so dang useful in modeling.
Indeed they are. Thanks for watching.
Looks fantastic. Kudos [thumbs up]
Once again a video with good content and information, great looking build.
Thanks, Bill. 👍🏼
Ron, I am glad you got back to this project, its like waiting for the next star wars film, lol. such a massive structure and it is really coming together well. Cheers Rob
Lol, I can relate to waiting for Star Wars. Story of my life. You won't have to said so long for the conclusion of this one.
Ron, that's a fine model, very well executed. Another advantage of N-Scale - you can build larger industries that look like they need multiple carloads of rail service.
Very true, Gary. It makes the railroad look like it has a real purpose.
Nice build Ron, you do good work. Bob
Hi, Bob. Thank you.
Great video Ron!
I’ve come to call the combination of scratch building and kit bashing.... Scratchbashing.
I too purchased Medusa Cement to rob it of the top parts and bash it.
I started on a cement processing plant a year ago.... and need to complete its details and such as well.
Little by little it all comes together.
Looks great Ron. I was wondering what had happened to this project. I'm looking forward to part 4.
Lookin' good Ron! I also use plastic straws of different sizes for drainage culverts on my layout. That might be another idea for yours if you haven't already implemented it.
Yes, that is a great idea. I love using everyday items in model building projects.
I actually remember Part 2. Not bad for someone who can't remember what he had for breakfast yesterday!
Ron. I have wanted to build a structure like Victory Blue for some time. Can you provide me with part 1, and 2? Can't seem to find them on your web site. Thanks for all the good work you do.
Hey Ron, would you please share your techniques for cutting out windows and doors on flats and curved shapes?
Hey, Ron! I am fairly new to your channel but I enjoy your videos a lot. I did not see the first two parts to this build. I went back and looked at your catalog of videos and could not determine which were parts 1 and 2. Could you include a link or a title so that I can watch them? I hate getting into the middle of a story and not knowing the plot, characters, or story. Just the way I am. Thanx.
There is a link to the playlist in an I card near the end of the video.
Hi Ron, cutting windows and Doors , this detail was lost, did you use hobby knife or a other tool to cut out windows and doors
I drilled a small hole in each corner then cut between them with a hobby knife and used a file and sanding sticks to get it to perfect size and shape.
"I say all that to say this...." made me think of another guy named Ron who once said, "I told you that story so I could tell you this one." :)
They call me Tater Salad. 🤣🤣🤣
@@RonsTrainsNThings Now when I say I got THROWN out of a bar, I don't mean somebody asked me to leave...
🤣🤣🤣
Oh wow. You purchased a ready to build kit and glued it together !! Amazing.... Not.
Hardly a 'scratch build' is it now ?
There was no kit involved here except the external elevator leg. Everything else is completely scratch built. You clearly didn't even watch the video or you would know.
@@RonsTrainsNThings😅😂😅😂
Seems like YOU haven't watched your video. Check at 5:11 and 11:50 where you SHOW the kits you have used.... Hahahahaha
when are you going to do another Ops 101 video?
👀
My version of scratch building involves free free and free. Just wait I'll be posting videos soon
