I have a 2009 Powerstroke Turbo Diesel F250 6.4 liter engine. At least as far as the location of the fuel filter and oil filter and oil drain plug, it is all the same as in this video. So, good job - this helps a lot.
he believes the filter cap isn’t OEM. on these engines, OEM filters need to be matched to OEM filter caps and aftermarket filters to aftermarket caps. if you mix and match either way, the filter element won’t seat in the housing correctly and it will let all of the oil bypass rather than go through the filter. I’m not a powerstroke guy but I remember reading about that because it seemed like such an obscure issue.
