Amazing ride out of Red Lodge Montana!! I break the road King, can we fix it to get back?

  • Since we are staying two nights in red Lodge, we didn’t wanna go real far, but we still wanted to ride. Amanda planned out a fantastic route that we all really enjoyed. Lots of scenery changes and high altitudes and we just narrowly missed a storm.
    After heading out of red Lodge, we went through the belfry area and then highway 296 back up to 212 on the other side of Beartooth pass.
    Then we rode Beartooth pass back in to red Lodge, Montana, but not before having some troubles on my Harley Davidson.
    One of our adventures, we went down a gravel road that was very bumpy, and we broke an oil cooler hose after having to fix it twice on the side of the road and dumping more than 8 quarts of oil on the ground, we finally got a temporary fix to get it back to red Lodge .

    My wife and I just finished watching all of your recent videos from out west. We thoroughly enjoyed them all and appreciate you sharing them. It sure is some beautiful country out there. I was out there about 30 years ago but not on my bike. We plan to go there on our bike in the next couple of years. Truly God's country!

    First, fantastic ride. Reminds me of riding both the Black Hills and the Rockies in CO. Mountain rides are the best. Your malfunction is what worries me about my bike too. I'm on a 14 Limited with over 60k miles. I want to take long, multi day trips on it but the older the bike the more prone to mechanical and other failures they become. Nature of the beast with a v-twin, push rod motor but still...I really don't want to be stranded in the middle of WY or UT somewhere hours from civilization! I also don't want to spend $30-60k on a new bike...so I'll keep spinning the wheel I guess. lol

      @amsoiladam  หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s nothing for mileage. We see a lot of riders with high mileage bikes and they just keep on running. A brand new bike and breakdown just as easily. Don’t limit yourself or use your bike as an excuse. Get out there and enjoy.
