I had a cox 049 engine 43 years ago when I was 13 years old.Then,I didn't know how to make device for power control. But now I know. I got a knowledge on the grace from your video. Appreciate for your UP from a japanese viewer.

You can get a throttle mod.
You can do this or you can drill through and install a butterfly/ plate

Very clever!!! I like the way you accelerate the engine. I do have the same engine and I'm looking for a way to accelerate it. I did atach a gear box to the needle valve; you can do the movement more precisely but slower. And this type of engine doesn't have much change in acceleration and for the application I want it I don't need that much precition . So your system is way better. I see you have the valve way open and you variate just the air intake. Am I right?
