MGF / TF Fuel Pump Replacement

I'm replacing the fuel pump in my MGF Race car and thought it might be useful to some people.
Although I can't show you the removal of parts to gain access as I don't have them fitted to my car, it might give you some idea atleast to replace the actual pump itself as the main assembly aren't available any more.
pump was purchased from Rimmer Brothers, link below at a cost of just over £77 + Delivery.

This’ll be a job I’ll need to do too, can see mine being a rusty pile of scrap when I pull it out. Pity they’re not available any more. Any option on adapting another rover one to fit, think Landy ones are still made?

Mgf and tf pump hanger are unique to them so no other ones will fit unless you go custom and unfortunately I'm not allowed to do that.

?-Question-? To you and everyone else. Could i replace this fuel pump unit ( or parts of it ) with one of a Range Rover p38 (or other)? The electrical and fuel connectors look like they are the same.
The lenght of the unit could be different but still a lot of the parts look the same. Mgf injector pressure 3bar if i remember correctly. Fuel pump pressure? Brittle plastic parts over time in old units ? Thank you, cheers.

Sorry can't answer that question as I've never done it. Hopefully someone else will be able to
