To be honest I really like these types of mice since they are basically gaming/productivity mice (if you are fine with the weight) on one hand it is like a keyboard of shortcuts directly although I did not own the Logitech g502, I had a razer basilisk v3 pro which is kinda similar to the g502. I use the bindings to Google browsing, which makes it easier for me to create a new web or tab. On the other hand when it comes to gaming. It is like a secondary keyboard of commends allowing you to easily spam an ability or crank 90s very easily and not having to move your hand around your keyboard it would made you lose time while making a combination to execute a move.
