Your cake looks fantastic and in my personal opinion it looks better than the inspo pic. Thanks for the tutorial, whenever I need to know how to do something I always go to your page 1st to check it out and see if you already taught us. Thanks for all you do!

that is soo cute. I was thinking that when the fondant overlaps on the cake, (where it meets) instead of cutting it, you can make it look like a rivet or a button to go with the denim, that would be adorable. I love your cakes so much Karolyn!

That's a great idea, I LOVE that!! She wanted those balls on there though. This would have been so much cuter!

To me, this is one of your best designs! I'm just not a fan of all of the kiddy ones. But I understand that is what people want.

Thank you! I wish I could do more designs like this, but most of my orders are for children's birthdays.😊

Hello.. Is there a board between the tears?

Always! I put all upper tiers on a cardboard cake circle. The cardboard circle rests atop the straws so it won't collapse!

What do you do with the excess fondant after it has tylose powder and sits out? I tried storing it but it gets too hard and I can’t seem to work with it anymore. Do you just throw it out or keep it? If you keep it, any tips on how to keep it from getting too hard?

I place the fondant in ziplock bags and store that in an airtight container. I keep using it while I can squeeze it when it's at room temp. If it's rock hard at room temp, I toss it. I find I can use it a few times before it goes bad!

@ mine gets really hard rock. Maybe I’m just putting too much Tylose In it. Thank you for responding to my question! You’re the best! I love ALL your videos!
