Do you have any cake topper tips you'd like to share?

When making cuts on fondant, refrigerate it for a few minutes to get it sturdy enough that you won't have tearing and jagged edges

Thank you! It's a butterfly that says "All Things Are Possible" 💜🙏

This video was stressful for me! 😂 I found myself holding my breath as you cut out the letter and the little holes. 😂 Thank you, Karolyn ❤

Letters and numbers like this annoy me! I'd much rather make ones with straight lines😂

I had a “curly” letter topper one time. What worked for me was using my clay extruder and taking that larger “snake” of fondant and shaping in on the printed out letter.
    I like your method too.

That's a great option as well! I've done that in the past too 😊

I use store bought fondant and tylose and I make toppers daily.

Yes you can! There are many people who have success with store bought fondant mixed with Tylose powder.

What brand of fondant do you use? I believe some brands work better with the Tylose and would love to know!

I’m in the UK and Renshaw’s works for me (so far!) I need to be brave and try making marshmallow fondant!

How is it that your fondant doesn’t dry out? I have made these ornaments using royal icing flooding method. You don’t seem to use much royal icing. Maybe I’m old fashion.

I rarely use royal icing. You have to make the fondant correctly so it's not too dry. If you add too much powdered sugar when making it, it will crack and dry out. It takes a little practice to get it right, but once you do, it's super simple to work with!

I’m curious as to why you don’t want to put it on the paper with the pen ink…. Is someone gonna eat the E? And the ink part that you drew isn’t gonna touch the cake either🤔 I appreciate you being so cautious but I was just curious cuz I would have definitely plopped that E on the paper without thinking twice😂

I didn't want to do that in case someone wanted to eat the E. (And the girl who ordered it did text me and asked if the E was edible!)
