As expected... great content! :) Seems you crafted a simple bow but went on to use the primitive one anyway ;) FYI: You'll get harder mobs on the big island yes. Game mechanics: 1: Machines all pull from storage, but crafting on your person or with hammer does NOT. 2: Having bow in hand makes it easier so use cooking spit because of the reticle it has. 3: When in inventory, you see a circle with a big X to the right of the hotbar, drag n drop there if you want items deleted. 4: If you delete a foundation, 8 storages will snap perfectly in the hole and you can walk over them. 5: If you prefer, you can build storages on top of eachother. Looking forward to the next episode :)
LOL I can't believe I didn't use the new bow, especially when using it so much. I wonder if I tossed it in the chest too while I was blabbing on. Glad to hear the enemies will get harder, I was just honestly surprised I haven't died yet :P Thanks for watching and all the tips! Also gave me an idea I want to try with the chests - that's super smart, and the tip with the bow is gold. Do you think I should bother doing any more building on this starting island though or just find a new spot when we get to the main island?
No point yet in going crazy building. Once you have the better hammer and have unlocked most of the building types, then go at it :) When you're building, if it's telling you that you can't build there, it's more about where you're standing/gliding, and not where you're trying to build. So if you're trying to build at the Crossroads for instance, you can, but you can't be standing too close. You can also build right over the top of the crossroads too. I like to build my base there to save travel time, seeing as that's where the portals are and the caretaker/trader guy.
You can have a salve/potion and an edible going at the same time and get the buff effect for both... but, as soon as you take a different similar type, it replaces the previous effect/buff with the new one.
Later, when you can make better armour and weapons, you can chose what materials you want to make them out of and that effects the quality/ability and appearance... ie: better rating/damage or colour effect etc.

@@BoojGames I shouldn't tell you how to play, but i can tell you: You will get access to a new building hammer shortly after getting over there. :)

While I agree with your reasoning regarding building strategy and travel time, I would urge you to not spoil things for him :)
