Tip: Don't bother with copper tools, you can go straight to bronze cause you can mine tin with the simple pick. :) As usual... super entertaining content! :)
Try to pay attention to new resources. You WILL need to use them at some stage, so if you have room in your inventory, stock up while you're there, because it's easy to forget when you found it. Hopefully in the future, they will add the ability to mark things on the map. There are many different types of trees. Oh... and there are more reads along the rivers edge.
I agree! Would be great if we could mark things. Till then I'll try and remember where the new spawns are so I'm not having to run around so much. I was sad I didn't find any new resources along that stretch of beach, big fail on my part lol.
Yes the rain put out the spit if it is placed too close to the wall, I'm guessing the invisible hitbox is larger than the spit and glitches through the wall, thus gets registered as exposed to the rain.
Thanks for the heads up Particle! I'll try to be more careful with placement in the new home :) I did love when that outdoor fire popped up when it was still raining haha, game was throwing me for a loop.
Don't beat yourself up about missing things. It's too easy in this game to do that. Like those heads you find... the writing on them is a clue to the next one. Not an obvious thing. If you don't explore, you won't find anything, so lots of running around isn't a waste of time, even if you don't find anything.
I really enjoy the exploring part, think on this next go I'm going to focus a bit on the new house / tools, make sure I can easily keep my inventory clean and then get us in a good spot to venture out.
