Now play as Protoman in Mega Man X!
Here are some of the features:
1.Buster shots is changed to Level2 Charge shots.
2.Level1 charge is changed to Level3 Charge shots.
3.Level2 charge is changed to the Charged Rolling Shield weapon.
4.Level3 charge is changed to the Charged Chameleon Sting weapon.
5.A small life bar.
6.Some new dialogue.
7.New weapon colors.
8.All of X’s graphic tiles have been changed with sprites of Protoman.
[Final Thoughts]
I enjoyed playing this. Even with the shortened health bar, it makes an easy game even easier. I like that the author made an effort to change the text, but it really needs some cleaning up for grammar, spacing, etc. Some graphical instances left unchanged are: Title Screen, large Mega Man X sprite used for intro and for New Weapon Demonstration Screen, and a sprite of X at the end of the game on a cliff. Possible the author will fix these in a future release. If you like Mega Man X and Protoman, this is worth a playthrough.

It needs balance. I think the best way to do it would be to make the shield and rapid charge shots a sort of hyper state. Something like the buster enhancement chip in X3

Hey l loved this vid, but when I try patching it, it dosnt work. It is just plain normal. Nothing changed.
Make sure the the original file is "Mega Man X (U) (V1.0) [!].smc". Also make sure the original file does not have a header. I use SNEStuff for patching and adding/removing headers.

1.you must download the original rom game
2.download the ips (which is the rom hack)
3.download a ips patcher
4.patch the rom and the ips
5.enjoy the gameplay

I already done that but with a new version of that hack rom (included a version when I can't get the Armour Part) but with a Password I can start with all the upgrades like the original game and get the Hadouken 1 in red and the other one in blue depend of the version 👌😉
