It doesn’t explain the exact chemical makeup of the stone and its quarry that are unique to each quarry. They mined and classified then recycled the tailings in a proportional amount to make the proper mix for the desired makeup of the "stone" and add ash and water... take the slurry pour into a form/mold and the chemical react cures it. While still green/not fully cured the form is removed and the exposed faces are hand finished to the desired surface texture then left to cure. Hope this helps you to understand

They mined and classified then recycled the tailings in a proportional amount to make the proper mix for the desired makeup of the "stone" and add ash and water... take the slurry pour into a form/mold and the chemical react cures it. While still green/not fully cured the form is removed and the exposed faces are hand finished to the desired surface texture then left to cure. Hope this helps you to understand
