    Please don’t say negative comments about how he looks like he’s doing his last song before he dies is called emotions and that is perfectly normal and the background is black cause it’s beautiful and you would also be nervous if u got recorded

    • @Cellopedia
      @Cellopedia  4 ปีที่แล้ว +51

      Thank you for defending me! I believe that it is inevitable to get mean comments no matter what or how you play. I use black background because it reminds me my performances in the past when there is black background and all lights are on the performer. I guess for people who never attended chamber music concerts it might look weird. All the best!

    La Cinquantaine is a piece G.Marie wrote for his parents 50th anniversary. It sounds great, I actually am playing it as my solo piece this year. This is prob one of my favorites.

Merci de continuer vos classes car elles aident certainement beaucoup d'autres élèves de tout niveau. Votre violoncelle a un son très chaud surtout sur les cordes de do et sol.
    I subscribe with pleasure. I am learning the cello and I find in your videos some studies given to me by my teacher so you help me in my progress. Great recording! I just wish there was a bit less reverb, because it feels like it was added on to make it sound better. You are a good enough player to not need reverb, because even though it sounds "Exposed" or whatever, I still think it sounds much better/less amateurish.
    Edit: Nvm just heard the intonation on the E and yes you do need the reverb.

      In measure 21, you put the first finger over G, and in measure 50, you put it over G#

    I have a solo which is this one I have a question that im struggling how do you play those 2 fast notes like on that makes it sound good because im having trouble it would mean a lot if you respond🧍🏻‍♀️

    • @Cellopedia
      @Cellopedia  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hello, the common mistake is to rush trill ( I believe this what you are asking about). Try playing each note of the trill slow, with very active left hand fingers, just making sure that it sounds clear. Once you can do it, you will be able to play it faster. All the best!

    How do you play so smoothe? My hands are always aching and in rough positions on the fingerboard and on the bow. i can't get my pinky on the bow correctly, it keeps becoming flat.

      We all went through that. I hope you have a cello teacher who can patiently correct it week after week. Just give it some time - nobody is born with a cello in hands.
