You know its bad when even CBS is forced to acknowledge obvious truths about this case. I'm surprised they covered this at all.

The problem here is that if you asked liberal-leaning media a few years ago about the connection between Hunter Biden, VP Biden and Burisma was, you would have been told pretty much the same thing that Republicans and Democrats are reporting about Archer's testimony. We can go back years ago and read articles that explain that Hunter Biden was desired by Burisma because of his connection to his father, not because of a need to do business with the VP, but because of the company's desire to show connections with reputable names. They saw this as an advantage in seeking international investments and for having an upstanding appearance. It was accepted (and looked down upon) back then that Hunter was indeed benefiting from the fact that his dad was the US VP. What was _not_ accepted then was that Biden was actually providing favors to or working with Burisma. And from the sound of things, that needle hasn't moved here. We still haven't heard any claims from the GOP that Archer gave them new information about this.
Another thing we read about back then was that prosecutor Shokin, before he was fired, was actively ignoring an investigation into Burisma. So when we hear from Archer's testimony that Burisma was not happy that Shokin was replaced, that seems to fit with what we'd already heard years ago. Indeed, after Shokin was replaced, investigation into Burisma started up. It's difficult to understand why Burisma would want VP Biden to have Shokin removed when Shokin was essentially doing them a favor.
It's simple, Joe Biden was acting like a foreign agent when he was vice president and Obama knew it because he appointed Joe as the lead man in Ukraine....

I don't believe it has. We've known since at least October of 2020 that Biden had met some of those business partners. What was said back then was much the same, that Biden had never had any official meetings with Burisma representatives. Prior to that, in 2019, Trump was fact-checked for claiming that Biden said he'd never spoken to anyone from Burisma. That was ruled false, as Biden had not claimed to never have spoken to them, but rather that he'd never talked business with his son's associates.
The official position seems to be the same today as then, at least for now. Perhaps we'll get some news later that will show more went on. But for now, Archer's testimony doesn't seem to have given us any significant new knowledge. It does line up with some things we'd already read, such as Shokin generally being seen as favorable to Burisma.
Now, I heard someone saying they were sympathy calls because of his brother's death. The Democrats are just beyond crazy!

The tactic of the DOJ (Merrick Garland) covering for Joe was to imply an "ongoing investigation" and hence the requirement that the testimony would be behind closed doors.
But the "ongoing investigation" may have been an excuse for this exact tactic rather than a real investigation. The evidence of that is the Whistleblowers testimony that they were told to back off of their investigations and inquiries into the Bidens.
So Chicken Little Comer can try and control the narrative.

The next question to ask joe is if he knows about any bank accounts for his family and friends containing foreign money.
Had the FBI been truly doing its job we would know about Hunter's secret foreign bank accounts which surely there must be since Hunter was not putting most of the salary he was getting from Burisma and the Chinese company into his US accounts. Biden keeps saying he's going to go after offshore accounts yet Merrick Garland is keeping that from happening in Hunter's case.

Trump in 2019 actually said Biden said that, but he was fact-checked on it and found to be in error. What Biden did claim was that he hadn't talked business with any of them. So we'll need to wait for additional information before we can conclude Biden lied about something here.
