If that’s true then they should lose their asylum status. Personally I’m more sympathetic towards Ukrainian’s esp women and children as they are searching for a safe place close to where they live in countries with similar cultures also they are highly likely to return once it’s safe but they need to police immigration much better than they are. If a family arrives and can show the head of household is fighting or killed/injured I’m all for helping out but no cowards or freeloaders and no more single males from Middle East and Africa who are mostly economic refugees anyway!

I was giving a medical card for 6 months for my son who had a serious brain injury last year and had to reapply again it will take him about 2 years to recover I have always worked and when I had t take 3 weeks off to look after him I just had to use savings

I'm sure you've read up on it too, Niall (one has to when one's government starts emptying the coffers for a corrupt country that nobody knew much about until they murdered so many Russian speaking Ukrainians, and broke the main conditions of the Minsk peace agreement that P-u-t-i-n decided to put an end to it) I'm just wondering, and maybe my suspicions are just that. But if he owned that much land in Donetsk, he ought to be a Russian speaker, one of the oppressed in Ukraine (for want of a better word). But he says that the Russians attacked/destroyed his land. I wonder if he means as the war got more intense, the Russians inadvertently hit his land while engaging against the Ukrainian army. Because prior to the Russian invasion, the Ukrainian army was shelling the Donetsk region for about 7 to 9 years. Not the Russians because that would mean Russia killing Russians.
I distinctly recall right at the beginning of this invasion, Russia sent in buses to evacuate Russian speaking Ukrainians into Russia. It may sound obvious but Russia has been protective of its people in East Ukraine. So when this man you are talking to says, "The Russians attacked my land" it makes me think he is a full Ukrainian. Which side is/was he a commander for? If he is Ukrainian, how did he own a large piece of land right in the heart of the Russian speaking area? Did he gain it by fair means or foul? Plenty of Russian speaking Ukrainians are dead - killed by shells in their own homes - because the Ukraine regime allowed it for 7 to 9 years.
I don't know. He just raises a lot of questions. I suppose we are so used to hearing nothing but lies from the majority of cuckoos (from a long list of countries) that we no longer trust their explanations.

I have seen Ukrainian hospitals first hand. And to tell you the truth I wouldn't put my dog in them. If you want decent medical treatment in Ukraine you have to pay for it. If you go into a public hospital in Ukraine your family have to bring you food as they don't feed you. This guy is a total liar. He probably didn't even live in Donetsk. For a fact the Ukrainian military were shelling Donetsk since 2014. If he loves Ukraine so much "Go home" then.

Stopped at medical cards Niall. Obviously any Ukrainian here not fighting for his country is a male or female not worthy of my time. Saw a lovely bank holiday a year or two ago in west Ukraine with throngs on the beach enjoying sunshine and volleyball
