Fantastic. Personally, I'd rather be absolutely insane than absolutely normal. Just the concept of being normal is horrifying. When's the last time you remembered a "normal" stranger. They're invisible. :-P
The genius of Mike Wozniak is that we spent 9 episodes learning that he is indeed the kind of person that obviously could wear a bishop's hat for no apparent reason, only for him to immediately exceed our already wild expectations about him at the beginning of this series' last episode.
Even more genius - this prize task wasn’t originally planned for the final episode. It was going to be on an earlier episode and MIKE WAS WILLING TO GIVE HIMSELF A MOHAWK FOR MULTIPLE RECORDINGS. The team found out what he was planning and decided they had to move it to the final episode just out of sheer amazement at the balls of the man.
I love that before Mike took off the crown, I wasn't even questioning it. I just figured it was his final episode hat. That's just how great and unpredictable Mike is! But the reveal rivals Josh's tattoo for shocking prize tasks!

In general the camera crew does an amazing job. The tasks are very unpredictable and the camera crew needs to be quick on their feet and focusing on the correct thing, while also not getting any crew members in the shots. Not easy!
When he first showed the coat hanger, I immediately thought of Markiplier telling the story of how he used cut up pieces of those coat hangers instead of the metal pegs he was supposed to use to secure the top bed of a bunk bed in college.

i wonder if maybe they could sometime do a special episode or, better even, mini series like Champion of Champions only not for the champions but for the fan favorites like Mike Wozniak and James Acaster and such, because i cannot imagine that i won't be seeing any more tasks by Mike, he was the absolute heart of the downright brilliant series!!!
I only recently found out, thanks to the wikipedia entry for taskmaster, that Mike Wozniak is actually the FIRST taskmaster champion EVER! In 2010, 8 years before it was ever a show, Alex did a precursor version with 20 comedians, sending them tasks via email and recording the results to be shown at the edinburgh comedy festival in a 2 hour movie. Wozniak was among that group and won the contest. Also, Joe Wilkinson, Tim Key and Mark Watson were all among the 20 comedians too.
Yes!! Didn't expect such chemistry, it seems to be happening naturally the moment they start communicating. Both smart and kind-hearted, Lee being rational and systematic but quickly getting mad at something and destroying all he has achieved without hesitation or regret, and Mike being polite, obedient, witty and absolutely chaotic... I'd watch them for hours and hours.
i think one my my favorite moments on all of taskmaster is sarah kendall's bemused expression, wondering "who's picnic girl" and then immediately realizing it's her. i will just be walking around and think to myself "I'M PICNIC GIRL?!?"
I love how by this point I wasn’t even questioning Mike’s hat. Then he took it off and I haven’t laughed so hard since Ed Gamble’s water feature 😂 that man was made for this show!
Man i'm gonna miss these wonderful casts so much. I genuinely like every single one of em. Also Charlotte inability to brag at the end is just hilarious.
Every series I think, "How will they ever find a cast that compares to previous ones?", and every time, casts like these happen. Incredible series, incredible cast, loved every second!
Being someone who discovered this show earlier this year, I've been binge watching this for a couple months, now the series has ended, and for the first time in my life I will have to wait for a new series to begin Worth every second of it
Watching this one after watching Series 16 and I'm subconsciously hearing Alex say "knees and toes" every time that phrase is said in this episode now :D
Something that really stood out for me this season is how much this group sticks out for one another in the studio. Like when someone comes up with an outlandish excuse for something they've done, the others will run with it rather than try to poke holes in it. Sometimes they help each other outright like Lee with Mike's fake thumb or Charlotte with Jumali's apocalypse hailstorm.
Knowing that the show is watchable worldwide on TH-cam, for free in lots of countries (like here), Mike probably's got millions of new fans. And I'm almost certain I'm not exaggerating. I'm saying that from France...
This has to be one of the best lineups of contestants the show's ever had. Mike Wozniak - what a revelation! And Charlotte Ritchie is just the sweetest person. All of them brilliantly funny.
For all Mike fans, watch the anarchical Man Down (from Greg Davies). He plays the straight man, but seeing him go nuts because of the antics of his friends is a delight.
That last two pre-recorded task (weigh Alex and the outside one) were so hilarious, I laughed in tears throughout. I think my new favourite moment is Charlotte running around with her shoulders up. She was my favourite! When she forgot the word 'torso' and automatically fulfilled her destiny saying those rhyme words.. I lost it even more.
I liked him at the start when he was like "we are not having any of this shit anymore" towards Greg. I think Greg liked that too, and I felt he went easy on Jamali because of that. And in this episode when Greg asks why he didn't react at all to Alex being dressed as a Roman: "I was sick of his shit" is a pretty good quote, too. Thing is, this group has Charlotte, Lee, and Mike. So it's hard really to stand out against that competition, regarding fan favorits. Plus, Sarah's hair plays in a league of it's own as well.
SPOILER ... .. .. 8:10 A classmate once did that, she was playing cowboy and shot at some of her friends, in jest. They laughed and then one girl stopped laughing. Because it was stuck in her forehead, hanging out with one 'leg' and the other was hooked inside her skin. Careful with those things, never shoot at anyone with it. You'd be surprised what kind of injuries you can cause with them.
I still think that Taskmaster is the closest thing I have ever found (as an adult) to the Muppet Show. This cast were particularly fun, and Mike is basically Taskmaster's Gonzo the Great. And I can think of no greater compliment to offer.
33:15. Jamali and Charlotte's reactions to Lee and Mike's team task time is low-key one of the funniest moments of the series. You just know some shit hit the fan.
From all the things I hate about covid, taking away a group hug from this five is one of the worst... Easily one of my favourite series. They steadily grown on me from episode to episode. As always I'm gonna miss them, but it feels like it's gonna be a bit tougher to let that lovely bunch of people go...
Also Josh Widdicome vs Mike Wozniak for "most insane commitment to the show" Is shaving your head on par with getting Greg tattooed to your foot? I feel like Mike would go there...
What a unique series this was, the contestants have never been all this nice, no one ever argued with oneanother the whole series, they were all very wholesome and supportive of eachother all the way through, everyone was just really chill and calm all the time. Especially after the loveable chaotic mess that was series 10, this felt like a completely different show! Contrasting the absolute chaos combo of Daisy, Johnny, Katherine, Mawaan, and Richard, with the nice soft vibes of Sarah, Lee, Charlotte, Jamali, and Mike just feels crazy! Seeing the chemistry the contestants develop is such an interesting part of the show!
Charlotte running in circles, giggling, dressed head to toe as a minion... I'll miss this series

God I’m gonna miss this group, considering it’s the best since season 7, and I’d even say their equal
s4 s7 s11 are top 3 for sure !
It's certainly the second best series of the 11 and yeah, close to 7. Mike Wozniak will be the first member of the Taskmaster Hall of Fame.

I was despairing how I’d get on without new episodes and this week got a really good job offer.
I think I’ll make it to the next series now.
Congratulations!
@@shespeakslatin Thank you.
Hope you're well.
How are you doing mate? Everthing okay over there? 😊
I will miss this group of people... Once again thank you for posting videos so quick after airing. It means a lot and you are absolute legends.
This is beautiful. Just....Mike's hair, then Sarah stapling Alex, Lee on the photocopy machine, Jamali getting fed up, Charlotte and Mike in the sandpit....truly *chef's kiss*
In 10 weeks, I’ve gone from not knowing who Mike Wozniak was, to him being one of my favourite personalities on TV.
Memorable moments:
6:06 Mike Wozniak being the absolute nutter he is
8:11 Alex nearly loses an eye
13:22 "AH, that HURTS! do it again"
20:17 Rethinking life decisions
23:38 head ErRoR
30:44 R-r-rewind
37:05 Activate Jamali
38:32 It comes full circle
43:42 FFT
36:20 Alex dying of laughter in the background
17:13 Charlotte's joke
This was possibly the best series of all time. And what a worthy final episode too!
Oh I dunno, the after credits extra showed a strong hand for the next series.
Mike and Lee were the best duo in the Taskmaster history.
The reveal of all of them in their lama costumes just made me extremely happy. It was a very fitting way to end this season!!
One of the best season so far! Congrats to Sarah, such a well-deserved win!
i wonder if maybe they could sometime do a special episode or, better even, mini series like Champion of Champions only not for the champions but for the fan favorites like Mike Wozniak and James Acaster and such, because i cannot imagine that i won't be seeing any more tasks by Mike, he was the absolute heart of the downright brilliant series!!!
Charlotte Ritchie, number five in the standings but number one in my heart
I only recently found out, thanks to the wikipedia entry for taskmaster, that Mike Wozniak is actually the FIRST taskmaster champion EVER! In 2010, 8 years before it was ever a show, Alex did a precursor version with 20 comedians, sending them tasks via email and recording the results to be shown at the edinburgh comedy festival in a 2 hour movie. Wozniak was among that group and won the contest.
Also, Joe Wilkinson, Tim Key and Mark Watson were all among the 20 comedians too.
Yes, he won the unofficial Taskmaster at the Edinburgh Fringe festival.
Sarah Kendall is one of the contestants I didn't know at the start, but I fully love her by the end!
absolutely
I'm not from the UK, so I basically don't know any of them at the start of a series. But at the end I always feel like all of them are family.
This lineup will be hard to beat. They're all likeable and entertaining. Best group on taskmaster!!
I am fully convinced that Alex commissioned the “weigh his head and feet” task to prove that he is over 6 feet tall
Someone please do a tv show with lee and mike
Sort it out TV lad!
Like a British odd couple...
@@phs125 we need Mike and Lee as the parents and James and Jessica as their crazy kids

14:50 I'm delighted that Charlotte knows what the Human Centipede is
That's one emergency question Richard Herring will ask.
Primary school teachers are absolute filth in their off time.
After Mike's prize task, he has officially become the GOAT of Taskmaster. absolute fucking legend he is
i think one my my favorite moments on all of taskmaster is sarah kendall's bemused expression, wondering "who's picnic girl" and then immediately realizing it's her. i will just be walking around and think to myself "I'M PICNIC GIRL?!?"
Charlotte's cuteness is beyond!!!
That was so great series!!!
Thank you very very very much!!!
Big loves from Georgia!
I love how by this point I wasn’t even questioning Mike’s hat. Then he took it off and I haven’t laughed so hard since Ed Gamble’s water feature 😂 that man was made for this show!
Charlotte and Mike have been my favourites. They're so entertaining to watch
Dear God in heaven give us this day our daily Mike and protect him from our temptation 😭
Man i'm gonna miss these wonderful casts so much. I genuinely like every single one of em.
Also Charlotte inability to brag at the end is just hilarious.
Lee was incredibly clever with Alex weight task.
Maybe simply not panicking; what he did required an average intellect while he is a _really_ clever person.
@@neithere You may be surprised where 'average' stands.
@@HellHunter00 then please surprise me!

Every series I think, "How will they ever find a cast that compares to previous ones?", and every time, casts like these happen. Incredible series, incredible cast, loved every second!
Being someone who discovered this show earlier this year, I've been binge watching this for a couple months, now the series has ended, and for the first time in my life I will have to wait for a new series to begin
Worth every second of it
Just do what everyone else does.
Binge it again from Series 1, Episode 1. Not to spoil anything, but that one has a nice bit involving a watermelon.
Or Mike in this episode: In Charlotte's defense, you have been saying that Alex is a tube for some weeks now.
I got a lot of insight about improv from watching the way they build on each other's insanity.
"I feel like we're like 5 camels who just robbed a bank" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
this series has brought me so much joy. :'] I absolutely need more of these five together in things, SUCH an excellent cast.
Not gonna lie. I'm not sure what to do with my live once this is over.

@@kyleoswald3366 hello? no this is Patrick.

This was the cast I was least excited about before the show aired, and now it's the cast I love the most
I need more Charlotte Ritchie and Mike Wozniak in my life.
33:13 them shaking their heads after hearing the time is absolutely great.
Top tier group for sure and Jamali really grew on me
Jamali got better!! I didn't like him at the start. He felt to aggressive and full on but I felt like he calmed down towards the end and I liked him
Not me. At all.
Not on me, unfortunately. Rude, inconsiderate, and not funny. Pretty much the antidote to everyone else, who was delightful.

Why oh why do I have to get attached to people I've never met in my life ugh. Amazing group!
Loved every min of the series. Thanks for putting it on youtube so people outside the Uk can watch. Love from Egypt.
I will miss this cast forever. Every single one of them were entertaining and phenomenal, each in their own way, absolutely loved it.
*spoilers*
the top three were INCREDIBLY close which really gave the win some heft this season. ugh this is one of the best
From all the things I hate about covid, taking away a group hug from this five is one of the worst... Easily one of my favourite series. They steadily grown on me from episode to episode. As always I'm gonna miss them, but it feels like it's gonna be a bit tougher to let that lovely bunch of people go...
I'm going to miss this cast so much
We need a series with Nish, James, Sally, Mike and Bob.
YESSSSSS!!!!
Can we sub out someone for Rhod? I am just imagining the craziness/ pure terror from Alex with Rhod, Sally and Mike as a team.
Also Josh Widdicome vs Mike Wozniak for "most insane commitment to the show"
Is shaving your head on par with getting Greg tattooed to your foot? I feel like Mike would go there...
Alex wouldn’t survive
Yes!!!!
Thanks, little Alex Horne, this show has kept me (mostly) sane during lockdown and the pandemic in general. Cheers!
