Perfect buddy, thanks. Just a reminder to use alkaline (non rechargeable) batteries. The ones in the video are not. When my wife and I bought this lock, we initially picked up the ones in your video, but after reading the box, we put them back and got alkaline. Thanks for perfect instructions, and clear close up video.
UPDATE I love you more than yesterday and less than tomorrow. I just installed my second electronic deadbolt per your instructions. I am happy to report that while it took one hour to install the first one, it only took 30 minutes for the second. 👍🏻

I can't get past step 6B. I put in the Master code and it will give me the successful beep and green lights, but will give me three red beeps when I hit the lock button directly afterward like the instructions say
Very helpful - thank you! Question though… I have to enter my new 4 digit passcode and then hit the middle lock button to unlock the door from the outside but is there a way to get the door to unlock WITHOUT having to hit the middle lock button after entering my 4 digit passcode?
Great video! Clear, slow, and closeups were great. My husband installed our front door lock and handle and it needed lots of adjustments (not because of him, but because of the door). So, while he is deer hunting, I installed this deadbolt on our garage door. Easily with your video (the instructions that came with it were good as well but videos are great). 👍
Yo, Phil and hope yall are doing well and not washed away. We got over 7 inches this time and 5 the last time. Oh well. Such as it is in mountain tropics! We're exceedingly goofy here but trying to dry out a bit. More than likely won't make it for a while but such is the way it is. That's a nice lock but I'd forget the numbers and loose the blasted key. Thanks, Buddy and yall be calm and GBWYall!
Hopefully our rain is coming today! So dry here. Temps are going to drop pretty low this week too. Pulled my peppers out of the garden last night and stacked some firewood in the shop. I'm ready for deer season now. Have a great Lord's Day, Lewie!
@@PhilCrockett Hope you got your rain and will fill the freezer. And we can thank our Maker all the time for His Blessings! A Jesus weekend to all yall 2!
Hi! When I opened the package the lock on the interior assembly moved smoothly. Somehow while setting it up, it started “sticking” halfway thru the turn. It will still allow me to turn it but with more force than necessary. Any ideas on how to reset this? I have changed batteries, reset several times and still can’t get it to go back to moving smoothly.
Awesome and easy to understand video. So clear were your instructions, I might even try to install this myself. Love that your video was short and sweet and to the point. Have drill, will do. :)
Coding doesn't seem very secure. For example what is the difference between code 1357 and 2468. It seems a random pattern will eventually unlock the door, especially if someone sees your pattern. Am I understanding this correctly?
You are understanding the power of statistics and repetition. The funniest thing about exterior locks is the fact that people have windows all around their house. IOW: Like my Dad use to say.....: "locks keep the honest people out"
Thanks for the video! I just used this video to help install this electric deadbolt on my front door today and everything went smoothly, it was a big help!
Thank you so much for putting this video out!! It sure helped me fix my daughter lock that I messed up!! 😊👍
You are so welcome!
Very detail about the installation, I think I will be able to do it. Thanks very much. BTW, do you have a code changing video for lazy people?

Excellent simple video I've been working on that crazy lot for days I even had a locksmith out and he couldn't do it right
glad my video helped

Wow, thank you!
You are awesome!!! We struggled with code for like 1 hour! Never mentioned 1st round using “0”. Then it worked perfect! Thank uou
Fantastic!
How do use the lock do I just put my code in and it will open or do need to press lock after putting my code in

How about directions?
My door is opposite then yours.
How do I fix that ?
hmmmm.... The lock should've come with instructions. However, that is a really good question.
Great instructions.
The process made me really comfortable in replacing the lock unit.
Thank you
Glad it helped! I love comments like this! Thanks for taking the time, Sai!!!!
Same
Won’t work for me :/ idk
Can you make it beep when someone enters door without code. As an alert someone entered while unlocked
This model does not offer that option, unfortunately. Good question!
@@PhilCrockett Would b awesome
Fabulous instructions! You made it easy.
Glad it was helpful, Debbie!
Thank you so much!!! I installed mine myself💪🏻

Probably best to reset it and start over.
Good job they should pay this man

Good job!!! hope he got a deer. have him look at my deer sausage videos.
What the hell is a "torque blade"?
That's what it's called.
Great video! Easy to follow verbiage, with no extra words or thoughts...just the correct info. Thank you!
Yeah, I try to keep it to the point. Thank you for watching, and commenting, my friend.
Thank you for this video. It allowed me to DIY this new lock successfully.
Glad I could help
Why does mine only work when it's in the lock position?
not sure
@@PhilCrockett thanks. I think its only right handed door knobs actually.
You are awesome brother, thanks
No prob! THANKS for watching and commenting!!!! Hope my other videos are just as useful!

Do not install the batteries until after you have the lock mounted!!
ok
once we got to the 0000 and lock button nothing happened, i reset it twice
Not sure why? did you try cussing while doing it? jk. I had a lock one time that didn't cooperate too.
Didn’t work
hmmm...... made the batteries are not in the right orientation. I do that once in a while.
This literally saved me! Thank you for posting this!!!!
You're welcome, Jaz!
I followed directions and it was flawless. Thank you
You're welcome, pretty Bird
TY bro, lost the programming instructions!
ya.....the instructions are awful anyways,,,,,
Installing it was easy. Now I can’t take the damn thing off which is how I ended up here.

I really don't know. I have not had this problem. Maybe someone else here can help???
Maybe don’t tighten up screws too hard. If it won’t help call your local locksmith
I'm having the same problem
