I just bought the leapfrog LF915HD as it seems the the best no frills baby monitor (at least according to Amazon). I'm a first time father, and I have to say, the two hardest things to pick out were the baby monitor and the bassinet. Both of these items have reviews that were all over the place on pretty much every single item on the market! LOL With that said, your channel along with Dadverb have helped greatly, thanks!
I use a google camera. I use a google home hub , phone, tablet , TV to view the feed. I get notifications on movement. These are underrated . And will last a long time, even when he/she is a toddler
@@Fathercraft not sure what you mean by background audio? Like can I listen without the video feed? If so no. That would be a cool feature. When my now 10 month old was an infant I turned down the brightness of the google home hub so I could still hear the audio while keeping it dark so mom and dad could “try” to get some rest lol
Guys, don't buy baby monitors as most of them are garbage. They stop working after a few months. The expensive ones might be good and packed with so many features that you will never need. All you need is to see your baby and listen if he or she is crying. I am using a pretty inexpensive security camera from amazon, which has been working awesome for more than a year. For the monitor I am using an old phone as the resolution is way better than the display monitors of leapfrog or other cameras.
Probably there’s someone out there who can… but in reality we think hacking baby monitors doesn’t really happen with any real frequency cause … why? There’s no financial incentive for a hacker.

That’s a nice setup. Does it give you background audio?
