My original goal size for my septum was 12g, but I sort of got addicted to stretching it, and now I'm at 7/16. 😂 EDIT: As of April 2024, my septum is at half an inch (12.7mm)!
Im using a pincher to stretch . Can i just leave the pincher in place of jewelry until the soreness is gone or should i have immediately put the jewelry in ?
Hey! Great vid 🤙 Plus a question from me: I stretched from 14g to 10g with a pincher, everything went fine. But how long should I wait to switch the pincher piercing for an original ring?

My ears are at one inch and my second lobes are nearly at 00g and my third lobes are both at a 8g!! I recently reached my septum stretch goal of 4g but, I really want to go to 00g now. I'm waiting to make that decision because I cant let the impulsive thoughts win lmao
i was pierced with a 14g and when it healed put some jewellery in that turned out to 16g when i put my 14g in it hurt quite a bit, will my piercing be ok? i just pushed the 14g jewellery back in cus i didnt kno the other one was a 16g
I’m having trouble getting my clicker in after stretching to 4mm! I have a pincher but I’m not a fan of how it looks. Do you have any tips for getting the clicker in??
@@desdom01 your septum may not be ready for the 4g clicker. Pinchers are tapered at the ends, so easier to get in. I would give it some more time with the pincher in, and if you are still having issues see your piercer if you need help with insertion of clicker. They can make sure your septum is ready for it.
@@issywissyie it is best to consult your piercer with any questions about your piercing, your anatomy and whether you are pierced in a way that makes stretching practical.
Hey im planning on getting a septum soon but my goal is to reach 9mm, and starting from 1mm would take a lot of time. What is the maximum size you reccomend to start with?
@Sgem-j your piercer will be your best resource for that, they can see your anatomy in person, and if you let them know your goals they can recommend the best size to start with.
I'm trying to go from 10 to 8 and am having a super tough time, my nose just refuses to take it. (Ive been at 10 for like 5 years) I've been gently tugging my septum for the last few days, and I have some packets of medical lube, and wanna thoroughly soak my nose in hot salty water. Am I doing everything right, if not what can I change, and how much pain is too much pain? Because I know its supposed to hurt to an extent, but I don't want it to reject or something
I'm trying to stretch mine now and I feel the piercer went to high with the needle. There is so much pressure on my nose with a new sized ring in and I'm forced to take it out because it gets to painful to wear all day. Any suggestions??
@AmericansforTrump go to a professional piercer so they can see your piercing in person and check the location and jewelry. They will be able to give you the best advice.
@@fknracer the principles of stretching a septum piercing and a lobe piercing are the same, as long as the person is not pierced directly through the cartilage in that area. A person who is stretching their septum should follow the general stretching guidelines, but be extra vigilant about pain and unusual pressure in the surrounding tissue whatever it is. You should expect to have to wait longer between stretches, and if you are having trouble you should consult your piercer with any questions about the piercing, your anatomy and whether you are pierced in a way that makes stretching practical.
I think most people would say that is a bit fast, but perhaps you have a freakishly stretchy septum like I do. I'm assuming your nose is okay now, so all's well that ends well!
