- Timelapse of my septum stretching journey from 1,6mm to 6mm (14g to 2g)!
The whole process took approximately three and a half months (14 weeks) which was a lot quicker than my ears. Please note that I only wore pinchers for the full sizes. While stretching/in-between each size I wore steel tunnels because of using the same taping method that I used to stretch my ears.
*WARNING: DO NOT wear wood jewelry while stretching! Wait until it's fully healed or it will merge with your skin.

Your video was brilliant thanks. Its difficult to see the different sizes bit you made it very clear. No bs straight to the point! I went from 1.6 to 2mm quite fast and i have a big sweet spot so im prob going to 3 or 4mm again tou made it very clear thankyou v much the bit at the end was good too :😊😊😊

My septum was pierced at 21st of December last year with 1.2 mm
Today, on 29th of January, I took 1.6 mm. Because it was falling out after a few hours, I took 2 mm then. No problems to get it inside without lube or waiting etc.
Want to go till 6 mm, too.
Sweet 2g looks so good on you I'm at a 4 2g is probably my septum goal.

6mm is where its at 👌 just wish my pincher would stay in by itself. Get allergic reactions to orings for some reason
They come in different materials for that reason! Try the nitrile ones, Bodyartforms have them :)
Wooden jewelry also seems to stay in place by friction alone, if you have not tried that yet

Just experiment and try, and you'll find out quick how stretchy your ears are

Idk, might be a combination of using the taping method and having a stretchy septum
@@Tronderose did you have to use plugs to tape? Or are you able to get it around normal jewelry. Do they make 14g plugs for when you are first starting?
@@chancedeckard6466 I have 14g tunnels that were probably shown in my ear stretching video. You could try taping other jewelry if you like

It depends on ur body on how well it can adapt some ppl can size up wit no prob some can't FYI
What a cool vid 👍😊 in my opinion it starts looking good at 8g. Do you also plan to wear 2g horseshoes which are completely 6mm and not only at the top?
I agree with the 8g! Horseshoes are not the type of jewelry I like for myself, but I have a spike which is my dream piece! It's sort of thick all the way through, but slightly tapered at the end

honestly I think that varies between different people.. but maybe a 10g or lower

I flipped the 5mm/4G in the video - not sure if I ever tried with the 6mm, but it only depends on the diameter of your jewelry and how high it's pierced in your nose.
Affirming my belief that I NEED to have my septum at least 4 mm.
Did you only use the pinchers to stretch within a few weeks or at month at a time? I plan on stretching my septum one day soon but I’m not sure how much time to wait in between stretches.
I used tunnels and PTFE tape to stretch. How long to wait depends on what stretching method you're using
May I ask, what's the diameter of the wood pinchers in this video? :)
I tried two different ones! The 4G was 10mm, while the 2G was 3/8"
@@Tronderose thank you so much that helps me out a lot! What size of diameter would you recommend for a 6 gauge pincher? I like the snug look but I don't want it to be so tight it's uncomfortable. I'm a woman with a very "normal nose" 🤣 I apologize for the questions
@Riley Lynne No need to apologize! It's hard to say, because it depends on your anatomy and if your nose is pierced high or low. If you have access to cheap clicker rings/horseshoes you could test a couple of sizes in those before you purchase your pincher. That being said, 8 and 10mm is most common. 8mm is good for snug fit!

most stuff i’ve seen recommends at least a three month heal time between sizes so this is quite the move up in such short time
No pain at all, just once when I hit 10G it was tender for a few days, and after that it never happened again. Healing time will be different for everyone, but 3 months sounds very excessive. Open wounds take shorter than that to heal, and here you're only stretching the skin.

At first you just try, then later on you'll figure out approximately how many days you'll need for each wrap of tape
How did all the stretching effect your cartilage? I wanna go to a 8g-6g but if i press against my 10g i can feel it touch my cartilage:(
It's possible that it starts pushing downwards instead! I had no trouble with my cartilage. There was only one point in my stretching journey where it was tender for a few days (actually between 10 and 8G), but after that it never happened again :)

Im trying to go to 10 currently from 12 right now is pinchers a good way to actually stretch or is it a no go? And i heard its recommended to use a lube but i never heard that.

How long did you wait between each stretch
The dates are on the screen for each size of jewelry. I sized up using the taping method, so a small piece of tape every 3-5 days. I'm planning to make a video about the stretching process in the future!

where do you get your jewelry? i'm at a 2g as well but all the jewelry i find is extremely long :(

@@kaylaelizabeth580 I prefer 9 or 10mm (3/8") for the diameter, but how low it hangs might depend on other things - like how high it was pierced in your nose, and how much space you have between your septum and lip.
may I ask you a question? were you able to hide them when they were 12/10/8 G and if so how? because I'm currently on 14G but I'm a doctor and for work I need to be able to hide it when needed.
Yes, I flipped the 4G in this video, but it will depend on the location of your piercing and your anatomy if you can do the same. Best of luck!

did you enlarge your septum by yourself? And the pitcher you show in this video where did you buy them? Because very often you find the thickness but not other measures.

You could also try glass plugs! They hold the size and pretty much work as pinchers but without the actual little hooks at the bottom so they’re discreet
I’m at a 16 gauge and trying to just stretch to be able to fit another 16 gauge in with it but I can’t stand the burn. I’m a weenie.
Are you using tapers? No burns with the taping method!
I did mine with a 12g needle in mid august. Had some pain and itches for washing too much with soaps but It's great now that I only give it salt solution washes twice a day. When do yall think I could start stretching to 10g? All advices are welcome!
The moment you realise you should get piercings professionally done is the moment you should start stretching.
I had mine for about a year before I started stretching it but you could probably start at around 6 months at best

Not everyone can but it is possible, listen to your body!
There's 3 sizes in March alone, but that's because of the half sizes (0.5mm differences) Approximately once a month for the 1mm difference (larger sizes) is correct.
how long does it take for it to heal when u first peirce it & how long do i have to wait to size up?🫢
