Wow…..I just saw this video and was truly “blown” away! Y’all did good! Would love to see more like this in the future. I’m so proud of what you and Kenny are doing.
OMG!!!! LADIES I ALMOST PEED MY PANTS!!! IM LITERALLY SO FREAKING EXCITED 😊 THIS IS A WHOLE NEW LEVEL OF BEAUTY!!!!!! I like the glossy finish for something like this but it's incredible 😍 ✨️ 🙌 ❤️ I just watched the foil edition at 2am & got so excited about that too!!! I am beyond obsessed with resin but with a lot of artists, I find myself wanting more... I have found that & would ABSOLUTELY LOVE TO COME FOR A CLASS!!!!!
Ok...this is 😯. It reminds me of my sister who passed away in 2004. She was an amazing watercolorist. This will be my first project in my new home. I'll do lavenders, silver, grays, some silver metallics.
Oh. My. Gosh😱 I have never worked with alcohol inks but I can see i need to. This is stunning! And not having Clara back for more would be cruel. She is an amazing artist with beautiful vision. This is quite possibly my very favorite finish evah!
oh my, I always watch your videos mainly while I'm prepping or finishing a piece. But this one.......I parked my butt downnnnnnnnnnn. Clara does amazing work with everything she touches, but I'm blown away with this. I think it's perfect for that bathroom. Absolutely stunning. I love the gold you added as well Rhonda. Best video I'm watched in a awhile and I learned a few new tricks ❤️❤️❤️
OH MY GOSH! I have been looking for something for a wall hanging for my daughter... THIS NAILED IT! Love ya Claire! Yes Rhonda, I would so attend a class on this. Would love a 2 day class.
Throughout the whole process I could not picture it as a vanity top. The angle it was filmed at mage it look about 5ft square. It looked like it would need a ladder to get to the sink. I’m so glad you showed the installed piece. It will look even better if a large mirror were to soften that very dark wall colour.
I have been waiting for this video! Clara, you ARE the master for coming up with this recipe for the dyes. THANK YOU, mother of dragons. 😘 This turned out stunning! Rhonda, your client will love this and her color choices were beautiful. I wish I were close enough to attend one of your classes, Rhonda. Perhaps one day, I can make it happen. Thank you both for generously sharing your knowledge. My mind is on fire so it's too busy buzzing with ideas to nail a color choice at the moment. LOL! 😆
I can't wait to try this..thank you Clara Lawrence and Rhonda for showing this finish. I will look for a future class. Awesome result and awesome teaching.
OMG!!!! I love all of your videos and think I have watched them all several times! This is so absolutely gorgeous I would definitely come to a class! More like this please!
Wow great video Rhonda ! I love that you have guests on and/or that you show other epoxy artworks such as the Allan Chambers methods. I have learned more about epoxy from your videos as you don't limit your audience to a few different concepts. Thank you my friend!!
Clara IS the Master of Alcohol Everything ❤️. This was such a great idea 💡 Love ❤️ ❤️❤️❤️❤️ colors blending! Plus it looked great in the customer’s BR. Yes, I would like to see more of this technique. Colors🤔 Maybe Tropical, Mermaid, Orange, yellow, gold
I like both! However I would use the technique on left to get the look I want on my kitchen countertops and the other one on my foyer floor and my 1st floor bathroom floor.
I'd like to see more of this "watercolor" style for kitchens or tables if possible. I'm going to be doing a large kitchen table surface for counters and a giant island. I like the white base and the soft coloring this has over epoxy. I have done epoxy a few times on floors and counters, this has appeal. I very much like epoxy but this has a very high class look to it, same with your foil work. Thanks!
Wow game changer colors are endless I now know what I’m going to do in my bathroom I want the Wine and copper and some browns and greens. I would love to take a class with Clara but I will have to save and then coming from central California is a lot. But if you keep her around I will show up again to take a class like this.
This is the coolest finish that you have done! I LOVE THIS AND WOULD LOVE TO DO A CLASS!!! Please let me know when and if you get this scheduled!!!! Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!🤩🤩🤩
Hi Clara! It was nice seeing you! Rhonda! This piece is absolutely stunning ❤️! Love the colors 😍. I would definitely would keep the gloss look I like things shiny. Yes I would like to see more of alcohol ink projects!
This is what I’ve been waiting for… for like years lol Thank you so much for this beautiful and amazing tutorial!!! I can’t wait to try it!! I wish I could take your class and come to where you guys are!! I’m way over here on the East Coast but one day I’ll make it there!! 🥰💞
Hi,When she says alcohol 91(Mix with the ink)is it isopropyl alcohol or ethyl alcohol?(minute 2.15) I am from Brazil and I didn't understand that. I was "inventing" this method too just yesterday, how lucky for me that you made this video! thanks.
Loved the video, great information, thanks for taking the time to share all that knowledge. I have to ask what type of substrate did you start with? is that plywood painted white with 2"x2" frame, or was it canvass? Canvass seems to be too soft a surface for countertops. thanks again for the great video, love those colors!
Hi Rhonda! That tutorial was INCREDIBLE!!! I love Clara's work and her talent with alcohol inks just is so tremendous. Thank you for having her in your studio and for y'all working your magic. I love, love, love this look. I do have a question though - I was looking at the recipes you listed, but I know Clara kept mentioning a color called "rain". Is that a custom color that she mixed up or is that something available for purchase from Erika at ATD or at Alumilite or SCC? Also, just to be sure I understand, you mixed the alumilite dyes right into the 91% isopropyl alcohol and you did the same with the ResinArte luster pigments? You were killing me in this video BTW - you were having so much fun and your excitement and enthusiasm were off the charts! So cute! It looked fantastic installed, too. All around great job and big props to Clara - the alcohol ink queen! I know Kenny was loving that finish - I remember watching some of the beautiful things he came up with on the fly there at your studio and this looks like it would be right up his alley! More like this, please!!
OK, I just found your video with Deb Wakefield and watched it, which answered my question about the Alumilite dye in the alcohol ink. This really is a game changer! Thank you so much!
rk3designs.com || What colors would you have picked if this were yours?
The colors she picked.
I may have to try this with some greens 💚
I’d like to see these colors with some copper in place of the gold and shuttle touch of deep purple here and there…it’s gorgeous! Love the rain color.
Purple and gold with blues
Black and gold
Omg its so dreamy..i love both mate or glossy look but i think i love glossy little bit more...😍😍😍
Same!! Thanks!!!
Definitely gloss! How beautiful! This wonderful woman will be missed forever!
She will!!! 🥰
Wow…..I just saw this video and was truly “blown” away! Y’all did good! Would love to see more like this in the future. I’m so proud of what you and Kenny are doing.
Thank you!!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Gloss finish would make it wonderful
I love the gloss because it's like high end polished marble - beautiful.
Water colors are Beautiful

I know right!! ❤️❤️

Love this. I would like to attend a class with alcohols
Hi,When she says alcohol 91(Mix with the ink)is it isopropyl alcohol or ethyl alcohol?(minute 2.15) I am from Brazil and I didn't understand that. I was "inventing" this method too just yesterday, how lucky for me that you made this video! thanks.
I use isopropyl alcohol 😊. Thank you so much for watching!!
Where can we find more color recipes for the alcohol inks? I can’t wait to do this! 💗💗💗
I would check out Clara Lawrence’s TH-cam channel. She’s got a bunch of videos.
Is the hair dryer on low? Cool or warm? Beautiful.
It would depend on the strength of your hairdryer. Clara’s drying wasn’t too strong so she had it on hi fan and low heat. 😊
Love this demo thank you
You are welcome. Thanks for watching!! 😊

the substrate is MDF? can we used board insulation so in can be install in the shower?
Absolutely! We also have some great videos on fabricating shower panels.
Would like to have a class on this technique!
