We've become obsessed with the stuff that we have. We buy new clothes, trendy sneakers and the latest iPhone to make us happy, and we succeed. But only for a while. Then the stuff grows old and obsolete, it loses it's sparkle and we quickly get bored with it.
What if we rather spent our time and money on creating experiences - moments to remember and to treasure for a lifetime. Because we are, after all, the sum total of our experiences.

Who is Green Renaissance? We are a tiny collective of 3 passionate filmmakers (Michael, Justine and Jackie). We live off-grid and dedicate our time to making films that we hope will inspire and share ideas.

This channel has absolutely amazing and important content.
When I was a child I used to live with my grandparents in a small town just next to forest. No one cared about expensive things, sacrificing your life for carrier. It was the happiest time of my life.
But as I was growing older I started wanting more so I have moved out. Now I am working in a luxury posh shop in London, feeling absolutely miserable and lonely, don't have any deep connections with people, all the time anxious and tired of faking smile, because no one believes that you can have money and good job but feel so down.
I hope one day I will be able to change it and move to my own place close to nature.

I believe money can give one abundance to have a better quality of life or it can be a prison of ones own making with unneeded stuff.

I work in construction. On a site that will contain approximately 5000 dwellings, and take 20 years to complete. Even though I live in a beautiful part of the UK. I seldom have the time to appreciate the things on my doorstep. When I have a few minutes, I play one of your videos. I can't explain it. But it's like an instant hit to me. I feel calmer, less frustrated and happier almost right away. Thank you for these wonderful moments of calm and reflection in such a stressful and busy world. X

I’m 40, I live minimal life(except my family) and the money I saved can get food and shelter to my family without working but still I felt insecure until I started watching the video in this channel. Anyone can make great video, all I wonder is how you find these great humans? This is amazing! This channel is truly special. It’s very difficulty to find humans like this guy, he is lucky because he has a family which understands what he means and his family is also lucky to have a teacher like him. I feel sad that some of us don’t have such family, they still like the rat race.

I loved this. I am heading to 80 and moved from the city 40 years ago. I do have money in the bank but it is meaningless unless I can help others. It is,my memory that matters,. When I am too tired to read I can roll back,my memories. I try to just watch the positive ones and they are wonderful. 🥰

I was captivated by this and many others of your films, and that is why I signed up as your patreon. No matter how hard I tried, I just was very uncomfortable and unreal feeling trying to fit in with the rest of my family of doctors and professors. The feeling that life had to mean more than university degrees, modes of transportation and residential addresses would not go away. Watching your films has given me confirmation that at last, I am on the right path, and it doesn't matter what anyone thinks. It is like a homecoming because the inner peace fills my soul! Kashief Booley is a artist-blacksmith. Working and living in the county side will be ideal for him, people from the city (the ones he walked away from) is stil his bread and butter, but now on his terms. You can never leave money behind, but you can find balance. What a bold move but rewarding for his creativity and hopefully his family life.

I really love to collect cute things, especially dolls. Once I went to an atelier where I could actually have an experience of making dolls. It took me more than 8 months to complete just 2 dolls. Two, not even twenty. I felt really hard and bored during the process, to be honest. I realized how hard to create something on my own. And I began to appreciate my doll collection, also people who devote their time to create incredible arts.

I live in the City, everything go so fast, people run like they are on fire, they are always in a rush for everything. Money seams to be never enough. I would prefer to live were you live than here. The only solution I did find was to work during the night. It's more relax and there is no rush. It's more quiet and more calm. I don't want to work again during the day. This channel really teach the good values. Thanks for everything.

The majority of materialistic people come from the USA! I am just as guilty, but have been working on loving those little things that we as human beings often overlook. "Never will money buy me happiness" is so true.

You accept a far higher risk of violence and death where you are as "going with the territory". But I promise you, there are much safer, kinder, more respectful places in this world, and you should discover them.
