Jung was from a different age, people are more open to these ideas now. I think it's important to remember that people like Jung and Nietzsche were talking about the society and people they experienced, in their time. Jung was aware we were on the verge of a new era he wrote of it and realized he was living at the end of an age, we are in that new era/age now (I don't think many people today recognize this imo and are still clinging to descriptions of a bygone era they never lived in themselves)

I had sleep paralysis last year :) fascinating and horrifying. Old hag pinning me to the bed screaming in my face....had no idea what sleep paralysis was until then. The gray blob man replaced my husband in bed one morning a few months later too :) I fell down the stairs running in my sleep, woke up in a heap tangled in the ladder my husband had left at the bottom of the stairs. I dreamed I was running, but my husband said I looked over at the bed in horror and jumped down the stairs :) Usually I know I'm dreaming, but this was so confusing as I was asleep and conscious, which is what causes sleep paralysis. I decided to try to look forward to the next time, as I expected, it hasn't happened since. I knew that fear or dread would make reoccurrence far more likely.

ACADEMY OF IDEAS…. are you aware of the fact that NASA has been lying to us for decades now about the true nature of earth and the objects in the sky above us? And it’s not just nasa it’s the media, and the scientific community, and the educational community, and all the other institutions we depend on to tell us the truth are not telling us the truth. From what I’ve learned is the truth is usually the complete opposite of what they tell us. What’s the complete opposite of a spinning globe earth hurdling through an infinite universe? A stationary plane with everything in the sky above rotating around us. The heliocentric model and globe earth is a humongous deception and crime against humanity.
This topic is in your wheelhouse so why haven’t you made a video on this topic yet or are you seriously not aware? I noticed in one of your videos about mass psychosis that you used a globe earth when talking about earth. Or is it that since you’re channel is getting big your TH-cam handlers won’t allow you to make a video on this topic?
From what I’ve seen all the big TH-camrs who have been tasked with making videos on flat earth have similar thumbnails with the channel host with a dumb look on their face or them face palming themselves with a flat earth like disc floating in space with water cascading off the edges. This is controlled opposition shills peddling lies and misconceptions on the topic in order to steer people off the trail of truth.
For anyone who has conducted a thorough investigation of this topic those images and the following immature troll like content of their videos is obviously a controlled attempt at reinforcing in the gullible masses minds that flat earth is a joke. Well people, the joke is on you and has been since the inception of fraudulent nasa. If you do end up making a video on flat earth and it’s similar to the other shill puppet hit pieces filled with misconceptions, misrepresentations and lies on the topic you will be exposed as controlled. Are people still not aware how controlled all forms of mainstream media is???
A TH-cam representative spoke in a congressional hearing and discussed how they would control information and specifically mention flat earth. Shortly after that all flat earth videos now have a Wikipedia context bar saying “flat earth is an archaic and scientifically disproven conception of the shape of the earth as a disk or plane…”
Now before anyone looking into the topic for the first time even clicks on the video they see that Wikipedia context bar.
Google owns TH-cam. During Obama’s presidency the topic of flat earth started re-emerging in the public conversation and started gaining attention so the puppet Obama was tasked with talking about flat earth. Of everything to talk about involving America and the world he talks about that on several occasions.
In a infamous speech Obama says, “we don’t have time to have a meeting with the flat earth society…”
The flat earth society is what’s called controlled opposition. They were created to pose as a legitimate flat earth research group while posting illustrations and claims such as boats cascading off the edge of the flat earth and flat earth as a disc floating in space in the solar system amongst planets. They basically kept their heliocentric model and inserted a flat earth disc. None of which is promoted by real legitimate truth seeking folks on the topic.
The real legitimate flat earth and other related conspiracy topics research community is called “international flat earth research society” and you won’t find it in the top Google results or anywhere close, you’ll have to have the exact link to find it. The “flat earth society” was created to combat against the legitimate “international flat earth research society”. Go to the “international flat earth research society” and you will find a stockpile of information including books, maps, online resources, links, videos, pictures, observations, experiments that many probably have never seen or heard of before due to the control of information. There is also dozens of concrete evidence nasa is fraudulent and detailed examples and explanations of how nasa defrauds American tax payers of billions of dollars annually and scams the world into believing they live on a spinning globe hurdling through an infinite universe. Everything nasa says and shows the world is fake and a lie.
The “flat earth society” poses as a legitimate flat earth research group and make the topic look silly thereby reinforcing the propaganda spread by the mainstream media news outlets and controlled puppets such as Neil degrasse Tyson. They want the gullible, naive, ignorant and easily manipulated masses to think the topic of flat earth is silly, ridiculous and you must be crazy if you promote it. They are doing everything in their power to hide the truth and keep the deception going. It’s major damage control.
Unfortunately for them with the advent of the internet, we can all access, research, investigated and exchange information instantaneously. Nasa footage and images have been carefully examined and scrutinized proving without a doubt they are frauds and the ways they pull off their scams are being exposed. With the advent of advanced technology we can all access such as high zoom cameras it’s been proven without a doubt there isn’t any curvature. That’s using the information the liars provide us saying earth is 25,000 miles in circumference. I’m guessing they didn’t anticipate how the internet would work against them and potentially be the cause of their downfall. It’s no surprise that they control the Internet as much as possible and all other forms of media and information distribution. Censorship, suppression, controlled opposition, shills, misinformation, disinformation, misrepresentations and misconceptions all designed to make the lies looks true and the truth look like a silly lie.
Back to google owning TH-cam, what a coincidence that when doing a basic google search for flat earth, the flat earth society shows up on the first page in the first of the results. Google and Google owned TH-cam use the same tactics and control what they want you to see, read and think.
Control the information and control the minds and worldview. It’s time you make a video on this topic and if you do, depending on how you portray it will tell a lot about if this channel is legitimate or is just more controlled propaganda. It’s highly unlikely you have gotten this popular and have this many subscribers without being controlled. This is a very deep topic and there is A LOT to be said about it. Elon musk being a fraud, well he’s the billionaire puppet who owns SpaceX, billionaire Jeff bezos owns blue origin and Richard Branson owns virgin galactic. While trump was in office he promoted “space force”. SpaceX gets government financial assistance and nasa is a government agency. All of a sudden people trust and believe governments? Fraud vitiates everything, corruption and dishonesty should also. Stop being so naive people!
Anyone who reads this let’s put ACADEDMY OF IDEAS to the test and request a video on the topic of flat earth.
Are you not controlled and are honestly here to report on and expose the true evils and deceptions of this highly controlled world or are you just another puppet controlled sellout just in it for the money?

I’m a fledgling sleep psychologist and have been reading Jungs works, specifically The Red Book, over the past 4 years. Never in my life has any piece of literature so profoundly affected every aspect of my life. It’s one of those rare physical objects that possesses a true feeling of magic, and to those who own the facsimile edition will know what I mean. Any amount of careful consideration on this book puts the individual on a path of deep, internal contemplation, and certainly substrates their own individuation. Anyone who enjoys Academy of Ideas would love this book, and I strongly recommend buying either the readers edition or the facsimile, or both!

Thank God I didn't have monsters and demons in my dreams but always kind, wise, spiritual creatures and beings.

I was sitting in my easy chair the other afternoon and had dozed off, as usual. I was dreaming that someone was at the door and that I went to the door, I didn't like who I saw and had, in the dream, just reached out to grab this man by the throat and choke him when the doorbell rang. It startled me out of my dream. I went to the door to see who in the world could be coming to see me and disturbing my afternoon nap. It was the man who I had wanted to choke in the dream. Ive even been blessed enough to have "visitations" from my best friend who passed away. I also warned him of his death unfortunately. but I found myself here after experiencing a huge surge in dejavu lately. To the point i feel crazy. &&This was absolutely eye opening. I recently started a dream journal, it lives on my bedside table with a dedicated pen.
My goal upon waking is to document / capture my thoughts.
There is a brief ~30 second window before my brain truly wakes up.
Within this window 2+2 can equal anything, I can be 10-feet tall, logic and rationality is entirely fluid.
Once the journal is full, I plan on reading it completely.
It will be spectacular reading. :):)

So true. A big dream can completely turn your life upside down, things that used to matter to you no longer matter, things you casually neglected take such primacy that you become willing to die for them. Big dreams are messages from God, but we must always be careful how we interpret them, because a big dream that is misinterpreted can lead to Hell.

If you are able to mentally visualize relaxing places it can help you “travel” mentally when you dream. Sleep music is also helpful. My first mental safe place was a salt rock cave that was warm lit and had lots of candles and humidity. You can use this as a starting point for going to sleep, your brain will take you out and where you need to go next. I hope this helps fellow dreamer 🤍🤍

I used to get two reoccurring dreams as a kid every single night. One was that I was running from something or someone and my legs froze, I couldn’t move. I felt hopeless and trapped, perhaps a reflection of how I felt in the waking world.
In another I had a lot of different animal companions/pets and once I acquired them I simply forgot about their existence, and they starved to death. Numerous of animals would lie dead around me, starved by none other than my ignorance and unconsciousness. Perhaps also a reflection. Recently me and my mom were discussing dreams and she had the exact same as mine in the same time period.

4 years ago i was going through some difficult times i was having odd dreams of scenarios of how things went and unlikely people behind it, geographic areas or landmarks that i dont frequent or unfamiliar with and unlikely alliances between friends, family and strangers that if i suggested i would sound crazy or logically unlikely to happen only to later find out they were indeed facts, some i just recently uncovered and some i never will. my advice to anyone who is experiencing this is to keep an open mind because everything is possible and no it doesnt have to make sense to you but try to connect the dots. Especially if you rarely dream and suddenly start to, and repeatedly about something or dreams that are beating around the bush.

Yes, it can be scary, that's why the mind send those scary and repressed thoughts, beliefs and desires there, out of consciousness. But that's where the juicy content and the growth is. Being scared of losing one's mind is a basic human fear. But you won't lose your mind by accessing your unconscious in safe ways like this.

Amazing. I love Carl Jung's dream about the meditating/sleeping yogi. I think I might know what it was about: his fear about fully awakening, in the Buddhist sense, as he alludes to when he talks about why he didn't want to take mescaline. It seems his subconscious mind had made an association between awakening and death, which is apt because awakening is a kind of death.

During a period in my life when I smoked cannabis daily, I noticed a complete cessation of my ability to recall dreams. I used to believe in all this , but through a severe trauma in my life i knew it was not true for me . I dream very little now , but when i do , it just relates to things i have seen or spoken about in the day. I no longer watch TV , hardly ever read books now , if i do read iI choose books that are easy on the mind with, no more crime books or any books with violence in .
I used to read at night in bed , which after an hour or more of reading i would be tired and ready to sleep, but my dreams would sometimes be unpleasant. Now the only book I read is a meditation book , , and after two or three short paragraphs I am ready to sleep , i then concentrate on my breathing and within five to ten minutes i am asleep , and have at least eight to nine hours of deep sleep . I know longer trust psychology as that is only the thoughts of another person and their theories on the psych , and sometimes do more harm to someone who get's confused by these theories. Not even Carl Jung can really ever understand the workings of the mind .

I think there are many different kinds of dreams that serve different functions. Some clear out the mental trash. Some dreams help us understand the world/people around us or to understand ourselves. A large percentage of my dreams are story dreams (numerous genres). Sometimes they have something to tell me. Some nights I think my subconscious is bored so she entertains herself (allowing me to hitchhike along in my dreams). Sometimes she listens to music and I wake up, like the other morning, wondering if it's a hidden message or my subconscious was just cranking the volume to a deafening level (playing the song on repeat) for the freak of it. I think we underestimate the power of our subconscious. We think of her as our dream creator, but she never sleeps. She's interacting in our waking world too. If you find yourself craving something (or wanting to do something) completely out of character it might be your subconscious trying to tell you something important. I learned this the hard way.

I have quite profound dreams every couple of months or so now, but I used to have them almost every night as a kid.
This morning, my dream struck me so resoundingly that I actually had chatgpt try to interpret it. Of course, the nuances in symbolism are idiosyncratic, but there are many themes and symbols that resonate with the collective unconscious. As I was reading the response with a breakdown of the themes in my dream, I quite literally had a very strong, welling feeling in my chest, and my eyes started watering and shed a few tears.
I'm going to start documenting my dreams in a journal, I think. There is definitely another world within each of us.
If anyone is interested, I can copy and paste my dream and chatgpts response, but it will be kinda long. The plot twist at the end and the one liner I thought to myself afterword in the dream will stay with me for a long time yet.

      @acebinko1 ปีที่แล้ว +3

@siddequafatima5344 This is the text I sent to chatgpt. There are many missing details, but these were the highlights.
There was a competition of sorts for kids/teenagers that are highly gifted in various fields. I participated in this. The challenges weren't exactly pass or fail, and scores weren't known to us as we progressed. We didn't know whether our skills were being tested or our potential as the tests ranged from easy to basically impossible. The tests took a long time. Many of us developed positive and negative relationships with each other. Some kids hurt others accidentally and others on purpose. It was like we were being monitored, and everyone behaved true to their nature because they thought it would be seen as what the people who watched us were looking for. When we got to the end, we saw this machine. It was so elegant and simple, but yet so complex. It was made out of two materials with paths traced through it. I could understand each square inch independently, but trying to understand how more than 2 of them functioned together was mindblowing. It felt alien. We watched as a person was inserted into this. Their body separated from a center line in the middle of their body, and their skeleton was also expanded outward. Then, a smaller skeleton separated and moved inward and reconnected. Then the small skeleton came out of the machine, and we realized the machine delivered a baby from a person in the most safe and efficient way possible. The other person who was pregnant never screamed or gave any sign of discomfort. At this point, everyone was excited with anticipation because they wanted to be a part of this. Then, a group of adults who were obviously the testers or whatever they were doing told us to basically jump into the machine. I was the only one who did not. I could see hundreds of these kids going down this thing. It was like a road, a tube, that extended for miles. The kids were so full of energy and some of them started killing each other because they wanted to be the first one there, and the last one alive. I felt dreadful amd anxious. I looked over at the other adults and they were laughing. Some said, "did you see her face before he killed her? Hilarious, " and others say, "You should've seen his joy." I realized that none of the kids were going to live. The adults didn't care. They didn't care that I hadn't gone in yet because I will eventually go in. I thought, "What a waste of humanities best and brightest... Into the meat grinder they go." And then I woke up.

@siddequafatima5344 This was chatgpt's response. I wouldn't say it hit the nail perfectly on the head, but given it's my subconscious, and I know the details that are missing, it was within the ballpark that I was able to dig even deeper into the meaning.
Thank you for sharing your dream with me. Dreams can be highly subjective and personal, so it's important to remember that the interpretation I provide is just one possible perspective. With that said, let's explore some potential symbols and themes in your dream:
Competition and Testing: The dream begins with a competition for highly gifted individuals in various fields. This may represent a sense of pressure or the need to prove oneself in waking life. The uncertainty about the purpose of the tests and the mixed range of difficulty could reflect feelings of ambiguity or unpredictability in your waking life challenges.
Relationships and Behavior: The dream highlights the positive and negative relationships formed during the competition. It suggests that people behaved in ways they thought would be observed and valued by those watching. This may symbolize the desire for validation and recognition from others. It could also reflect the complex dynamics of social interactions and the pressure to conform or perform in certain ways.
The Machine: The central focus of the dream is the machine that delivers babies in a safe and efficient manner. This machine represents a transformative process or a new beginning. The complex nature of the machine that you struggle to understand may symbolize a sense of awe or fascination with the mysteries of life and creation.
Dread and Anxiety: As the dream progresses, you begin to feel a sense of dread and anxiety. The pressure to jump into the machine, combined with the violent behavior and indifference of the adults, may represent a fear of being swept up in a relentless and competitive environment. It could also reflect concerns about the devaluation of human potential and the disregard for individual well-being.
Overall, your dream seems to touch upon themes of competition, relationships, societal pressures, and the value placed on individual talents. It suggests a fear of losing oneself in a highly competitive and ruthless environment, where personal well-being and the intrinsic worth of individuals may be overlooked. This dream may be reflecting your concerns about the sacrifices and compromises associated with pursuing success or recognition.
Remember that dream interpretation is subjective, and only you can truly decipher the personal significance of your dream. Reflecting on the emotions, symbols, and themes that stood out to you can help you uncover deeper insights into its meaning.

I know the symbolism and meanings are more interconnected than how chatgpt portrayed them, but its response is still fascinating. I feel like the dream could be expanded upon and made into a book or movie, and it would do really well. I think the plot twist would leave many people with a lot to think about. It feels like the bed for some intense philosophical discussion.

I can float in the air, in my dreams. The feeling is so real to me, that I believe I can float when I am awake. I try. But I can't leave the floor. I feel my feet are too heavy. My legs are too dense.
When I float in my dreams, I move with the wind. Over the hills, the green grass, the tree tops of pines, cool breezes and blue skies. I feel the coolness on my face, my hair whipping my cheeks. I see colors, bright lights, golden sparkles and dark blue shadows. I see the night.
Then I find myself in a filthy bathroom. All the toilets are overflowing, human waste everywhere. Balls of white paper paper wadded on the floor, splotches of brown shit on the toilet seat. I don't smell it, but I know what it smells like. I'll have to clean it, because, I am always cleaning. I have to go so badly. Then I am driving in a car parking my car, or a truck or a van and forgetting where I parked it. I keep looking. Walking and walking around the parking lot. I've lost the keys. Panic. I have to pee. Then I wake-up, go pee, and think about my dream. I close my eyes, wishing I could float away and disappear.

I just had a dream I was going down a dark corridor in a large building, and coming towards me were two VERY tall “Death” beings…with the hood and black robe and scythe. The first one exuded empathy as he looked in my direction as they passed me. I was relieved they weren’t there “for me”.

Imagine being in a dream, from so long past, so realistic, that you re-discovered a well forgotten discovery, of such small insignificance, that I was convinced, that I had to have travelled back to that time. Peace be unto you.

Jung was a complete genius. What Jung call the subconscious is the right hemisphere of our brains. When you dream you are in a world of metaphor and astonishing revelation.its no accident that incite often comes from that place.Sometimes I think the dream world is closer to reality that the waking one

Not sure if its due to psychedelic use or something else but some dreams i forget within minutes of waking up. Others ill always remember. One dream i had recently that stuck was of "me" running through woods, swimming fluidly in water (im a terrible swimmer) and sitting in a moonlit field. At some point the dream shifts and i find "myself" leading by hand a young girl down a stoney road but i could visibly see myself from a aerial perspective yet still control my actions. What i saw "myself" as was not human, it could best be described as a satyr (small horns, brownish skin, short, hairy hoofed legs, and my eyes were blindfolded with multiple white rags/bandages). The last bit i remember is reaching a bridge with an amazing tower in the horizon, surrounded by water. I let go of the girls hand, point forward then she crosses and i turn back. Then i woke up with a deep exhale. Very, very strange.

most commonly happened in my dreams are; struggled to run and using my hand as a support to jump ahead, cinematic point of view where i am the observant but also involved in it, then a complete void, nightmare from past trauma and fears. i remember in the past dreams i had difficulty to run fast and my legs were heavy as if it was stucked in a mud😩

My wife and I were students of Dr. Hall and his wife for the 2 years up to his stroke. Went to see him in the hospital. Under his analysis, he led us to the wisdom of the dream, anima, animus and shadow. Read his books, as well as Edinger and Von Frantz. Led to increased communication and transformation as we dated and throughout our marriage.

For the past 3 weeks I have had a dream that seems to continue each night almost exactly where it left off before I awoke. It got strange after a tornado was blowing around in the valley in my dream only for the next day tornados ravaged across the US and one even went 20 min away from my home in real life.

I always used to wonder where we go in our dreams.. and my intuition tells me home... Idk what that means but I've always felt really strongly about this. And I get that your dreams take place in different settings but who's to say you're not viewing or visiting a past life? Idk maybe it's nonsense ...

I use to have dreams and every night someone would show me how they died. Some of them weren't sure how they died. And they were all from different time periods and I could feel what they felt. I lived in a house that was rumored to be on a Indian burial ground. Also while living in that house a group of men in black robes would come to me in my dream every night and we would chant bible versus to rid the evil in the house. It worked and they never came back to me in a dream to this day. The deeams I had in that house were insane. I should have written them down. They were really scary.

FYI... Passionflower and Reishi Mushroom (tinctures) induce very vivid, lucid dreams. Be careful with them though, as they amplify images, colors, and emotional content within dreams, and can cause someone who is not comfortable with intense dreams to awaken disturbed by their dream content.

to me some dreams are less coherent/fleeting, some are practical or maybe about a problem
the "big dreams" can influence/impress a person a lot. I once had a waking dream- or a dream of only seconds, and I still remember the place I saw. It was like nowhere I've seen, or maybe something from ancestral past.

My dreams are equivalent to seeing movies, sometimes I fantasize about writing books dealing with the stories I see in my dreams, writing small books was something I dreamed about except language barriers made it difficult, I will have dreams while snoozing, and the ultimate dream that I had is a near-death experience in which I was pumped up with twice the amount of anesthesia needed at a major Hospital in the surgery room at the surgery table, this near death experience took the fear of death out of me and gived me an absolute appreciation for life like no other, it was the most relaxed most comfortable moment in my life, I was listening to Manly P Hall and he mentioned about the Egyptian initiation process in which a preacher using his fingers push on a certain point on the initiate body causing his heart to shut down then the initiate is revived again, I wonder if near death experience and dreams were part of the ancient Egyptians initiation process .

These creatures tried a near-death experience with me, but it did not work, thank God. I used to say one word, repeat it, and it would go away. Yes, they are devilish dreams. It is Satan's trick upon death. Did you catch the idea? He wants everyone to think that he behaves well and that there is no right and wrong, only morals are the most important thing! In fact, he does not like those morals, but he does not love God more. If this happens to you again, try saying the word to make that false dream collapse. I was saying the word that all the prophets said! Without it you will not enter heaven. I was repeating that word.
