Hi CeCe, I see you're reacting to the legendary Deniece "Neicy" Williams!!! Such an iconic smooth, sultry & soulful voice, the moment she sings a note, you just know it's her...She was initially produced by Maurice White (R.I.P.) the founder & leader of Earth, Wind & Fire of which several of the members of the band played in studio on many of her recordings!!! I love her songs "Free," "Too Much, Too Little, Too Late" (duet with Johnny Mathis) & "Let's Hear It For The Boy." I said it before and I'll say it again, you have great taste in music...Thanks for this reaction!!!

This was actually a request. Yes, her voice is amazing, so beautiful. I agree, those are some really nice songs of hers in addition to "Silly of Me". You're welcome and thank you for watching.

    That was a nice surprise.
I don’t know much about Denice except “Let’s Hear it For The Boy”.
    Nice and mellow.

In all honesty, just my opinion... this is the greatest song Deniece Williams ever recorded. Her angelic voice matched with the outstanding lyrics of the late great Mr. Thom Bell makes this song which is truly unmatched. Yes... She had major hits from her first album which was produced by the late great Maurice White of Earth Wind & Fire, but this classic can easily be felt by ones with a tender heart that truly matter what transpires in a relationship and the love of that special someone. The arrangements, the lyric and the melody matched with her one of a kind soprano notes makes this song unmatched especially at the ending when she lets it loose with those high notes. Can listen to this song all day everyday. Just my opinion!!!!

Another song that I remember by her is the "Free".
You really get a sense of the level of control she has over her voice.
I love seeing people respond to music they never heard before.
    Great response.
