This damn game and it's projectile spam. God it's depressing to watch. Constant zoning play is boring and is ruining this game. It's so sad watching melee heroes try all day to get in on projectile spam, only for them to get knocked back to full screen and the process to start over. I wish I knew what NRS was thinking with this style of gameplay....

Adam Blaz3r they wanted to appeal to kids or casuals i think. So they can win a few games here and there from nothing but zoning. I for one was way better at MKX than this game because 1) I mained Mileena 2) Zoning was super easy to deal with in MKX. It was higher execution, more rush-down style, no patience at all (except when fighting SZ Grandmaster) ... Where impatience in IJ2 will kill you faster than anything. Coming from MKX and never playing IJ1, I was kinda shocked at first by this game's retardedly unbalanced roster, and heavy zoning. I was Harley at first but i just got sick of climbing up mountains just to get to DeadShot or Dr Fate.. When you finally manage to knock them down and start pressuring, say hello to the world of invincible safe wake-ups that is IJ2. Like seriously WTF?? At least in MKX i had to spend a bar to armor out with Milleena, and risk that yolo ass super-negative ex ball roll. There sure as fuck wasnt no invincible frames (besides Cassie's nut punch). I can't stand the invincible wake-ups in this shit, especially considering how strong if zoners some of the characters that have them are. Like, shouldn't the strongest zoners in the game suck humongous cock up-close and have a pathetic wakeup?? Or at least a punishable-as-fuck onee? Level with us NRS.. This is why i main Super-whore, cuz I'm too lazy and impatient to keep ducking wrist shots, lasers, and that Dr Fate fuckery...

That's what I'm saying man, I wanted my fav character to be Batman in this game but what am I supposed to do against constant zoning? Use my trait and hope it doesn't get cancelled? Spend a ton of bar on one roll in? Throw my own slow and weak projectiles? Batman gets punked like a bitch in this game by zoning and it's heartbreaking. He's DC's biggest hero.

Dunno why everyone is hating on Dragon. Sure he was a bit lame with Aquaman but he has since been playing Adam and Fate. Regardless of who he plays he is always solid as fuck. Great defense, flawless executions. I would say he and Semiij are probably the most consistent players in this game. I never even played fighting games much but players like Dragon, Semiij, Sonic Fox, & Rewind are just a cut above the rest and obviously show in gameplay.

Honestly, Sonics Redhood is tops imo, mostly because I have a hard time believing Hellboy's not gonna get his bullshit nerfed pretty soon, while Redhood has already been nerfed a couple times and was never as retardly OP as Hellboy is right now.
Sonic was on that MvC shit when he lost in Eleague.... He got a little cocky and thought he could go play some other game and continue mopping the fuck out of everyone in IJ2. I dont blame him, he WAS mopping everything in sight and already paid. Plus he wanted to shut those capcom bastards up for 5 seconds, which he did when he won a MvC tourney.... Add that to his legend... But, that cost him $150K, because there's a lot of good players in the NRS scene now and if you're half-assing IJ2 for another game, the ForeverKings, Dragons, Theos, Semiijs, Foxy Grampas, Tekken Masters, and Dr Gross's of the world are gonna fuck your shit up. Sonic knows that, and he's back on his NRS shit now, and kicking the fuck outta everything in sight again. His Redhood is an absolute monster, but Sonic with this OP Hellboy is just unfair.

N2K there is nothing deep or complex about full screen spamming someone for the entire match. While yes I agree fighting games aren’t all about the combo it’s more so mechanics and matchups but man slamming projectiles is the cheapest way to win. That shit literally takes no skill wharsoever

To be honest, when I play zoners it just makes it all the more sweet when I beat them. I'm at the point now where if you pick a character that can remotely zone I just pick cyborg and beat you to it.

Just watched the final, Sonic did something closer to a combo there than their (theo and sonic) earlier set. Either way he did so much chip it pissed me off. Meter burn laser and grabs all game. I would have preferred any other of his mains: Red Hood, Hell boy, Captain Cold, heck even Black Adam (which he doesn't play anymore) lol. Oh and Black Canary, am I the only one who misses his Black Canary? I really enjoyed his Black Canary.

I'd love to meter burn it. Also, on a max difficulty multiverse, against a scarecrow, I swear, he used his teleport and immediately afterward was able to use his down back forward 3 command grab. I spent 30+ minutes in the practice trying to simulate it with no success.
