Kinda reminds me of a grand final set in the original Injustice a few years ago between Perfect Legend and another guy who chose Shazam. Shaman was on the come up and Perfect Legend didn't seem too familiar with the match up. In response, P.L. looked liked he was just picking every character on the roster to find the counter pick; but nothing worked and he lost! It was hilarious to watch, especially as a Shazam fan.

Just hold down to block Atom when small. Watch for overheads. Tech grabs. Super easy character to dominant in this game. Nothing Grr was doing was outlandish or special but he definitely exploits weaknesses in match up knowledge.
FEARFREAK42 yeah all you have to do is crouch block him and if you see him standing there in trait you can quickly poke him out of it

FEARFREAK42 "super easy character to dominate" that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. He has a teleport and an amazingly quick down 3 to disrupt any flaw in your game. If you're knocked down when he comes out of trait then you will be hit by a d3. If you think you can just crouch (which is a good strategy against most everything atom does) then most people will be good enough to Sprint towards you and grab. They get chip, meter, and a restand. He's real dangerous with meter. Unblockable stomp. Freeze gun. Tricky set ups.
FEARFREAK42 you can push block to right? But also if you block them he might grab you which is still bad cause then you get no punish on his trait recovery
Lol, the only real competition in this was ForeverKing and he lost because he was facing an unfamiliar enemy. Grr is going to get smoked like he usually does when he plays the big boys. He literally only won because of his character and it’s not even because the character is OP or anything, people just aren’t that familiar with him. I can’t wait to see him cry again like when Sonic spanked him.

Atom fighting as a shining speck is one of the coolest things I've seen in a fighting game for a while. Even his "crouch" animation is dope.

While in his trait, Atom has an overhead, and can grab you. You've got to be careful either way.
true but its really easy to react to because he pauses for a moment before he does the over head and before he grabs so u can easily tech grab or dash back, and people dont kno that you can grab him out of his trait, his hit box doesnt change for grabs when he is in trait.
Aj Stew he has a low too and he actually doesn’t have to pause to do the overhead I seen players press 2 into the overhead so yeah you have to be careful I usually poke Atom out his trait as soon as I get the opportunity because I don’t want anything to do with it and it’s not the easiest thing to push block either

I'd rather have cyborgs tackle as a wake up than his sweep.............. Well I'd ratherh ave bothm, btu they removed invincibility from cyborgs tackle Dx that pissed me off.......
All they did was make his tackle not a wake up and made a wake up low..... so really in essecne all they did was lower the damage on his wake up and made it not punishable when you duck............ that's literally all the change does...
Edit: OH WAIT I'M WRONG...... I FORGOT, before if your opponent jumped on wake up the tackle would go too far to be punished by most of the cast and would get you out of the corner......... NOW if you wake up with the sweep it keeps you in the corner and gets you full combo punished.
Cyborg got NERFED if you ask me....... AT BEST he is EXACTLY the same, he just gets punished slightly differently now. SMFH.
