    I've only used the raptor liner spray can and it's held up great in the wheel well of my dually truck. The only issue I saw with your review was that you were holding the can way too close while spraying, should be at LEAST 24 - 36 inches away. You were 8-12 inches away.

  • @ReadySetElement
    @ReadySetElement 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Yeah I agree the yellow one seems the best.

    Awesome review... I just need a product to overlap where my Line-X stops on my firewall and spray up higher. Going to go with the Raptor, it would've been Herculiner but I'm not looking for glossy sheen. Thanks again for the great film work and commentary. .... Job is done now. Distance definitely helps with the texture. Also, spraying up close leaves it thicker, flatter, and with more shine.

    @nopro5433 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Thanks for putting this out there saved me a Buck is the Raptor the less Glossy out of these I’m kinda seeking Egg Shell or Matt for my FJ .Also you can control the texture by further away and or mist coats. On the Duplicolor that discolor is called blushing /Usually from Humid Cond? Or temp.🤜🏻🍻

    I used the rustolum roll on from Walmart for my side steps on my F150 but didn't hold up to these Alaska winters.

    These liner sprays, in order to perform best, need to be applied to an extremely cleaned and properly prepared surface. Oils from our hands and other contaminants, as i understand it, can dramatically affect the long term product performance. I do appreciate this comparison and thank you for sharing this review.

    Only the 2k versions ( bedliner and hardener) are bedliner quality. The one component spray is just to cover corners and hard to reach areas with the gun included in 2k kits.
    I have used raptor for yrs as under coat.The 2k version.
    I have recently tried T-Rex the spray pattern wasn't as refined as Raptor, it hard a larger droplets. And a bit shinier.
    I like raptor, better, even if it's getting more expensive than T-Rex. Again I use them as undercoat on cars. It's like that red gas tank you buy when you run out of gas. They both dry like a hard tuff coating.
    Of these sprays I have use the duplicolor but not as a bedliner. As I only use Bedliner as " undercoat"
    Good video though. Keep it up !

    I'm thinking of using something like this to cover up the wiring and battery components on my frankenboard electric skateboard I'm making from spare parts. Maybe masking tape with this over it? I don't care if it looks bad, just wondering what the most durable and sticky product I should use? Thanks

  • @SuperFlash75

    Hard decision between the Herculiner and the Raptor. Herculiner is too shiny for me but does look a little thicker than the Raptor. I would go with Raptor liner. I really liked the way it had coverage when you started spraying. Raptor is my final answer.

    The second can (Duplicolor) you did not even shake the can hardly at all! Man you have to shake those cans and make sure you get the liner mixed well before you spray or roll on the surface. Also you wipe your hand on the metal then start to spray on the liner, Dude you really need to read the directions on how to properly prep and mix and spray at a proper distance for the best results. I dont mean to be a ball buster but this demo shows me just what not to do.
