Robin is so underrated for this moment. She physically took multiple iron ball attacks for Rebecca, and was completely silent about it because she didn't want Rebecca to feel bad. And it's crazy because the evidence was right there, with the expressions she made when she said the flower was giving out, which could pretty easily translate to an expression of pain especially since we can SEE iron balls falling through. Well that and at 0:40 you can literally SEE her dress shredded and her back bleeding, but no one notices because we're too busy watching Diamante and Kyros lol.
"Trueno bastardo" means "bastard thunder". A "bastard sword" is a sword that isn't a longsword nor a 1 handed sword, but a "bastardized" hybrid in between those. In this context, "bastard" means "irregular", "with no certain origin", which obviously applies both to his sword and Kyros himself.
Bastard sword is also known as "hand and a-half sword" because it has enough handle to be used with two hands, but it's shorter than longswords (Skallagrim probably has a video explaining this stuff)...
Something I love is that Sunflowers are flowers you're supposed to give on Father's Day. Kyros protecting his daughter on Sunflower Hill was great symbolism. Someone pointed this out to Oda in the SBS His response: "Huh. I had no idea (haha). It's carnations for Mother's Day, but I guess dads are supposed to get... sunflowers!! Not sure if it's just me, but aren't sunflowers a bit... large? Hahaha. I've heard that you're supposed to give other kinds of flowers on Father's Day as well, so I assume there must be various opinions on the matter out there. Nevertheless, I'm glad to find that there's an actual connection between "sunflowers" and "fathers"!

Honestly, the fight between Kyros and Diamante is the biggest disappointment in the entire series for me. It build Kyros up greatly, making him an incredible bad ass, one of the best in the entire series, at the detriment of EVERYONE else in the area. Robin was completely sidelined, only acting as a human shield for this girl she barely knows. Diamante was built up to be a big opponent, one of Dolfamingo's top men, but he gets absolutely bodied. And Rebecca...Rebecca is the biggest disappointment. "I do not want you to have spilled blood", she spent 10 years in a coliseum that actively tried to kill her everyday, and developed a fighting style based purely on defense. She has battled about as many people as Kyros himself, and never lost, nor has she hurt anyone. She could have stood by Kyros's side, defending her very injured father, as he delivers attacks. Proving to him, that she is not a little girl, but she is still the one he cared for dearly. no blood spilt by her, no wasted character development, no disappointments. A father and a daughter, fighting equally.
The cuts and pacing are garbage in this arc. They really should have stuck to each major encounter until at least half way before jumping to a different one.
