- Ever since I first heard this song, I knew I had to make a Loki video with it. Now that everyone's in covid-19 quarantine... I knew it was the right time to take a stab at it!
I really hope that the clips can speak for themselves... I tried to show a different side of Thor and Loki's relationship -- a not-so-idealistic side. Marvel just needs to cut Loki a break and give him one singular solitary friend already. Maybe then Loki wouldn't want to blow things up or stab people. Just sayin.'
Anyway... I hope that you all enjoy. This one really gave me a lot of feels.

I was crying when I first heard this song. This fits Loki so perfectly. Loki deserved so much better. To me, he is not a villain. If I was in the marvel universe, I would have given him all the love that he needed. I would have also be the light to his darkness. I would have loved him for who is was. no matter who he was or what he looked like. I even consider his Jotun form very beautiful. To me, he will always my love and my king.

Also even tho I loved endgame I was still saddened that our Loki died for real (honestly didn’t like the way he died in infinity war) but at least 2012 loki escaped and the one we will focusing on cuz tbh I love Thor, avengers, and dark world versions of loki anyway. I do hope that 2012 loki in the show finds his way to the main timeline and have character development again.

I understand the original song was written as a empowerment song for a woman... but I as a woman and non-binary have deeply related to Loki for years, and Loki has always been a misfit, an outsider, and someone who has been kept in a box by the toxic people who've had power over him, all his life. And in the MCU, he's constantly being written out, powered down, and kept down by toxic men (both in-universe and out). And I felt that with no disrespect to the original intent of the song, I think it can be relatable to all genders and especially people who have felt powerless and want to take some power back and speak their truth boldly, no matter the consequences.
