My favorite one was when Elon Musk was buying Twitter. I got an email directly from "Musk" saying the Twitter deal was closing today but he was $1,000 short and if I wired him $1,000 he would give me a 10% stake in Twitter worth over a billion dollars. Lol! I had this hilarious mental image of Musk trying to close the deal and Twitter executives saying, "Nope deals off, we said $40 Billion and all you have is $39,999,999,000 and him madly trying to email random people for the extra $1,000.
OMG!! the post at 5:55? THATS ME! HII!! yeah, so the second time it happened, i made a follow up post in regards of everyone's advice: to ask for an invoice. they said they couldn't do invoice so they were going to send me an email, and i knew then it was still a scam. it was the same premise: child's pet, custom background, 200 dollars. i just went ahead and reported them as spam the moment they said "i cant do invoice ill send you an email". honestly im so glad for the internet helping me out over here. if it wasn't for platforms like reddit i don't think i would have saved myself from being in debt. 🙏 and, off topic, but i am such a HUGE FAN of emkay!! im so happy one of my posts got mentioned on one of my favourite channels. i really love you guys, thank you so much :3
Oh, those skimmers you sometimes run into at gas stations are just awful - I ran into one about 8 years ago, and it was a nightmare filing for fraud - whatever rep I got could not wrap her head around the idea that someone could make purchases online without them physically being in possession of my card. Like, you only need the numbers to buy things online - you don't need to physically show the card to your computer and swipe it... well I have no clue where they thought it was being swiped. But jeez - it was like 2016 or so, and they couldn't wrap their head around the idea of digital purchases.
NGL I'm tempted to do this with a pic of some random kpop idol and see if they catch on. I had one try to convince me that Mizuki Kirihara from CANDY TUNE (a decently well known jpop group) was a girl named Riko living in California (think i told this story already on a different account). The scammer literally stole pictures from her social media thinking no one would notice and no one would try to reverse image search, which is low key hilarious and low key gives people in a plethora on fandoms an edge against them. It's kinda like how those GFX and TTV bots will stupidly use well known vtubers and live2D models that aren't theirs as part of their portfolio (the reason why they'll never actually tell you who they made their examples for).
As for the Walmart one - I'll explain it better because I've had this happen. You order for PICKUP and don't think you got your item, and it's easy to forget and move on. Turns out that the item you added for pickup wasn't available for pickup, so they send it via delivery instead. Really easy to forget about the small item from over a week or two ago that just appears suddenly.
12:52 I would report this to your local police or post office, and take any mail that arrives to the police or mark it “Not at this address, return to sender. “
It took me a minute to realise what this scam actually is. Basically, the person sends you stuff, claiming that "the post office was mistaken, and it was accidentally sent to the wrong address", but it was actually *meant* to go to your address. It's a way to transport either illegal stuff or stolen money across some distance. They send you the stuff and you send the stuff to someone else, hence the "mule" scam. Also, sorry if everyone knows this type of scam, I haven't seen it before and just thought it was quite interesting.
I thought the random drinks were gonna be a brushing scam where someone sends a package (usually something cheap that costs next to nothing for the scammer to order), usually for the purpose of manipulating amazon reviews or selling "organic" amazon reviews. I once had someone send me a $5 bra of all things to my house in a similar manner., and you would not believe how common it is. If you don't get an explanation like the drinks OP and the packages continue to show up, bring the package to the nearest amazon warehouse/post office and explain that you keep getting packages that you did not order, they should be able help you put a stop to it. Also as tempting as it it, DO NOT CONSUME ANY FOOD, BEVERAGE, SKIN CARE, MAKE UP, ETC THAT YOU MAY END UP GETTING VIA THIS SCAM. ... also yeah, Luna looks like the kinda cat who's piss in the kitchen sink lmao.
@@yeetusthefetus3465 Well, actually, I wasn't suggesting them, I was asking for them to be released, because they do exist. Damien confirmed on one of his live streams a while back that he was able to do some after he and the other narrators convinced the EmKay team to let them happen. He did some with Robin and some with Zach, but they have yet to be published, although they're in the playlists (r/MaliciousCompliance and r/Whatismycookiecutter).
@@awesomestyles Oh I see. Yeah then they should publish them soon, people have been asking for them since forever, I'm fine with single narrations too of course, but double narrations would definitely be fun `(*∩_∩*)′

"You don't need my email" Well, technically no. If you have a /me link, you can send direct through that, though not everyone does. However everyone with a paypal DOES have an email, which you can use to send money... I don't think that was a scam... Like 60% of the purchases I've made through paypal, I've done it with the persons email. I use a /me link myself, because it's faster and easier... Once you have it set up.

Hi babe:3
wait that’s crazy
Holy guac and ball torture!
Hope you are doing much better :)
"Uninformed" when it's "uniformed" is so funny to me 🤣
they mispronounce stuff on purpose to drive engagement from people correcting them in the comments. its a dumb tactic by low talent content creators.
@@Joshua-Mason Or they just misread because they are humans and make mistakes???
I noticed that. It's kinda weird that we watch the channel to hear it read out but still sit and read it ourselves anyway.

5:20 Piss Cam Kitchen... Now that's a good name for a camera.

Love the ones where they contact you on one platform, but NEED you to talk to them on a completely different platform
and it's always some dumb reason like "these texts are not secure you must use this app people have only vaguely heard of so no one can help you"
they usually ask you to use apps like telegram, because telegram mostly does *not* comply with law enforcement.
Answering the narrator’s question: I think the last one is just OP turning the tables and playing by the scammer’s playbook to mess with the scammer?
yep
I like ur kuki profile pic

Fr what kind of low do you have to resort to to scam off of grieving people with lost pets.
Literally human garbage dude

My rule of thumb is "if the grammar is shit, just don't trust it."
I love the awful celebrity impersonation scams
My favorite scams are the bot scam ones that tried to be all sympathetic when they were given the “wrong number.”
