Hah, I began my Saturday at 4pm so don't worry about it. :P And thank you for the kind words! The goal with this series was to do something a little different, so I'm glad that I've succeeded in that. ^.^
Hey Fable, I love the way you presented the start of your run in this video, much more comprehensive and easy to follow than the previous series. Wonderful job :)
Leg cuffs stop the widow from moving, but everything is moving around her. So if the minions move to be in front of her they are in front of her, but she can't move herself or be forcibly moved.
Correct. The idea is for her to be permanently fixated in the first position. Since she is immune to movement effects, I think that also makes it so she isn't knocked out of her cocoon by movement abilities... in theory, anyway. If it becomes a problem, we can always replace it. ^.^
I don't know if you have tried it or not, but a Four Horsemen build is really fun plus their ability to increase spell power and heal really makes for a great playthrough! I know its been at least a year since you may have played, but thought I'd mention it.
I've actually done a lot of Iratus series since this one and eventually cleared every level of Eternal Harvest! The Reaper wasn't available back when this series was being recorded, but I have done extensive builds with him since, including the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. I think he is, hands down, the strongest Creation in the game. I think my first time trying the Four Horsemen build was in this video on Eternal Harvest 1: th-cam.com/video/gXGyrTA7FlM/w-d-xo.html
Ask and ye shall receive. The Lich's name is already lined up (and it's not a bone pun), but I'll come up with something for the Bone Golem -- something absolutely humerus! ;)
Man the zombie is kinda smooth with it's gun skills, have you ever noticed it twirling the pistol after it has used it's abillity. But yea imagine just having a zombie just standing back and stacking it's stack powder abillity and then use it's bombardment abillity, along with having the serpant skull and some buffs from.other minions to make a fatal bombardment, plus it is kinda usefull even if they got blocks or wards since the bombardment attacks several times. And for survival you could give him vamp fangs, but also ever thought about a mummy and lost soul combo?, Where the mummy eats the debuffs from the lost soul's warding abilliy
I have a bizarre relationship with Bombardment. I've only ever really used it when I couldn't use the Zombie's other abilities because I think they're really good. It could be absolutely hilarious with all 5 stacks of Mechanical Aim+More Powder+Amok though, so I'll try it next episode. (= I've apparently been sleeping on the Mummy's usefulness; he's in so many compositions that are linked on the Discord. That being said, I haven't put too much thought into using him in much capacity, outside of eating Ignition. I know that the late floors have some devastating magics, so maybe Lost Soul+Mummy will be useful there? I'll keep it in mind. ^.^
@@Fableheim well imagine the sheer amounr of damage of an Amock spell buffed Zombie with many stacks of more powder, or well him doing his cannon blast to just kill a massive enemy, and with the Mummy, a lost soul and lich could be done i think. Such as the lich using his "Command undead" on him to advance the zombie up for a massive cannon blast. Tho idk who should be able to tank, so it could be a Bone golem, mummy, zombie and lich or lost soul( btw i am curious as to what the unique artifacts for the lich, mummy and zombie is). But imagine if you got the spectral chainmail early on( the armor that gives your minions +2 vigor pr.kill) so imagine a bone golem with that armor and his unique artifact, coupled with the jester's mask to draw in attacks. Since the bone golem can regain much of his health with his healing abillity
@@Fableheim Since Christian brought up the Zombie I have to say that you should get Trench loading with the guy and he becomes an absolute meat shield that is almost impossible to kill.
@@Christian1999DK A Bone Golem tank would be able to support a pure dps Zombie well with his ability to impart +2 Block or +1 Block/+1 Ward. I prefer using the Black Widow to redirect attacks away from him, but that requires some specific positioning that Command Undead can mess with. The Unique item for the Lich reduces the damage he deals to allies by 65%, the unique for the mummy causes him to heal for 5 Vigor at the start of his turn (or maybe every turn?) for each Curse on an enemy, Zombie's unique item gives him +4 Accuracy and +15% damage every turn stacking up to 5 times but is removed if he changes position. I actually think that the Black Widow can heal more than the Bone Golem, since her healing is 6% of her Vigor (with the Invigorating upgrade) every turn. The Spectral Chainmail would be a huge boon to us, and I am, admittedly, trying to fish for it. I've only ever seen it once, and that was at the end of my run during the beta branch. T.T
12:40 doesnt the bone golem heal also scale with his HP and does her spiky cocoon trigger her spider venom? . i think her cocoon says "A minion behind her" implying, that it protects ALL minions behind her (because its not "THE minion behind her") but it doesnt do this -> not the best wording
You are correct. The Bone Golem, the Black Widow, and the Enchanted Heart item are all heals based on max Vigor. Her Spiky Cocoon reflect will trigger Spider Venom! Unfortunately, that reflect application is not affected by her Unique item that doubles Spider Venom application. That is some confusing language, and you are correct in that the cocoon will only redirect attacks from the position directly behind her.
Do you have a particular reason for the Bone Golem to be in the third slot? He is typically utilized as a frontline punching bag. The HH has remarkable damage potential, but I find the skill point sink required to raise his Accuracy a bit detrimental to his goal of killing things. I would only really use him if I had the Mechanical Eye item. I have a few recommendations but I need to know what your goal with your desired composition is first. Would you like to deal purely physical damage? Or do you not mind as long as things die? My recommendations would also change on the difficulty you're playing on, if you don't mind sharing that. (=
@@Fableheim rn is in more pain, my goal using 3rd Golem is just to use him as block and ward buffs, yes i go full physical damage. When i move Golem to first ( which he will when he is healing ) i use the Grand Auspex on Vampire. i get your point by asking this, my problem is i cant find HH and Vampire true potential in 3rd position :(
@@sandhywinartja8662 Yeah, the Golem should still be able to apply Block and Ward from the first position and heal himself from there, even though he won't be moving. I don't think you should use him in any other position. On More Pain!, you can use the Vampire as a frontline brawler with her Wrath ability, but her true brawling potential is a little bizarre, since it requires enemies to go Insane to buff her. The Vampire's use (particularly in higher difficulties) involves using the Grand Auspex and the Berserk upgrade to open up dealing 50% of an enemy's current health; Berserk can be combo'd with the Skeleton's Smite to cause him to hit 3 times. Unfortunately, Physical damage builds are presently the weakest of the three potential builds, but one of the synergies you could look into is the Skeleton's buff upgraded into the Strength of Mediocrity. You can use this on a Dark Knight to allow him to double-dip the damage on his Q ability (which deals bonus damage equal to his Armour+Resistance). You can also use it on another Skeleton that has the Witching Bones. If you wanted to lean into it, that group might look like Lost Soul (or Vampire) to buff the enemies, Skeleton (this one is the buff bot), Skeleton (this one with Enchanting Bone and Smite the Show-Offs upgrade), and Dark Knight. If you had your heart set on keeping the Bride and the Bone Golem, you could also consider something like Bride/Mummy/Dhampir/Golem. The Mummy's wraps would reduce enemy luck to help the Bride and Dhampir, who both have insanely high innate luck and increase crit damage upgrades, crit more frequently. If you upgrade the Golem's Destroy into Onslaught to pull things, you could even try using the Bride in her Overwatch stance and double up on pulling things with both the Mummy and the Golem. If you like both the Bride and Golem a lot, you could lean into Overwatch and do Bride/Bride/Golem/Golem. If both Brides upgrade Overwatch to gain +33 Evasion in that stance, that's a lot of dodge chance. In this idea, both Golems would need Destroy upgraded to Onslaught. The greatest weakness of this build is that it has an INSANE amount of movement on your side, but it could be a lot of fun. I hope this gave you some ideas, sorry for the wall of text. (=
@@Fableheim sounds like an idea to me, im gonna try that skeleton plays, i played skeleton and dk armour combo earlier before i have HH and Vampire, it worked alright i put a lot of armour and resist stats on dk, should i keep doing that ? Or just pour it on attack stats?
@@sandhywinartja8662 If you intend to use the Dark Knight offencively, you should level up Attack at least a few times, then you can spend some points in Armour/Resist once it becomes the cheaper option or level them back and forth. Points into Vigor can go a long way to increase his survivability as well. This build has a few weaknesses, but the most glaring is if the enemy you are fighting has a lot of Armour. In moments like that, the Skeleton's Unassuming Strike is really the only thing you can do about it without items. If you keep an eye out for an Acid Gland, you can give it to one of the Skeletons and Smite an enemy to strike it multiple times, attempting to peel off its Armour that way. I hope this helps you in your quest to slaughter the Living! (=
