rich wilby old skool g 😎 ur old nash tank test ‘chod demo’ video was like my bible to chods back int day. got a great voice for film and definitely is true to his youtube channel name. ✊
I feel your pain about collecting lures. I probably spent around £130 on lures alone since Christmas. A lot of it to do with correcting novice errors when it came to lure selection when I first put the kit together back in 2021. I wanted to get into the sport on a budget and started off with a lot of chinese specials off amazon. While they were a bit hit and miss in terms of quality. Ive come to terms that the pike dont like them because: - The swimming action on them is just bad. - They look nothing like the bait fish or natural prey that they eat - I dont have the right colours to work in the conditions that I fish. - The lures arent big enough to be more enticing to pike.... -- I had a 15-50g medium rod that I used to cast 10cm lures that weighed 20-22g I didnt spend £130 just on pike lures alone though, part of that also went on a few for my perch setup which was all put together last year. Had a great time with this setup but there were gaps in the collection that wasnt being catered to, so I bought a few crank baits in the sales to sort that out. The pike around here seem to love tiny perch lures. I dont know why, but I did spend more time and pay a lot of attention to detail when putting together the correct lure selection for perch. It was literally to the point where i would leave the entire pike setup at home and just go out with the perch gear. I wish I had a done a bit more re-search or had someone there to teach me when I was putting my pike setup together back in 2021. There was so much I didnt know till I went out and experienced it for myself and spent countless of hours on youtube watching what other people do.
@@all-roundanglerwithrichwil6161 hmm that's a difficult one. For me fishing is about a place and time to chill and relax, the music would blend into the background so as not to distract from the visual, plenty of birdsong if there is any. But that's coming from someone brought up on Jack Hargreaves tv, lol. The younger generation will have other ideas, maybe they are your target audience? You're not alone, other TH-camrs do similar, seems to be more prevalent with lure fishing?
@@JW-wp1qt its business. the hundreds of thousands of new anglers joining the sport are between 15-40. anything over and they were probably already into fishing. anything younger and there not viable due to havin no money. so with that being said saving the libary people arent fishing companys main target audience. im guessing ur a fishing veteran so... during this video rich tells the camera about his kit he then advises not to carry to many lures... any fishing veteran would already know this meaning u cud if u really wanted watch the video.. put it on mute with subtitles on. this way u wudnt get flustered with the new era and rich wont start puttin classical tracks on his videos 👏🤞

Fished that lake a few times, every session for pike there’s at least one per session.

Love your videos but the music does my head in on this one, must be me getting too old and grumpy.😄
What music do you like? We will see what we can do next time.
I agree. I don't think that the music suited the (great) video at all.

Be very careful, cut wire or hooks if in doubt 👍
