Hi have you used the cheap ora ge and black version of these which have been available for years quite cheap.they seem similar to these. Any thoughts ?.
Liking the look of these although a box of 50 aren’t going to get you too far are they? You’re going to need at least 2 boxes I’d have thought? But these ones negate any issue of marking the tile surface that people complain about with the spin y ones and I love the way you can insert them after you’ve layed the tile. Think I might get a few. Thanks.
I'd say big plusses are.. The fact you can put them in after the tile is a big bonus, Sometimes with the GLS if they are not completely straight they can throw your joint. If you're adding to tiling the next day, you only need to leave a tiny hole for the T piece to slot into, to attach to the already set tile. With the fact they are re-usable to, I think just makes them an all round upgrade. I was speaking to the rep the other day and these BIHUI one's are flying off the shelves I think for those reasons. GLS spin is still a very good level clip, I'd say these are just a step up now.
@@thebespokebloke Thanks. I'm doing some initial research before attempting to tile about 100 sq m of various things (herringbone layout porcelain, bathrooms, etc... all need self levelling too). I've done self levelling but never tiling before. I'm tempted to get someone else to do it but just going through some research first :) Out of interest do you take on jobs, if so where are you based? We are in W London. Cheers
Yeah, I think that makes them well worth it, As if you save like 80% of them on a job.. They work out a lot cheaper than having to keep buying the "T pieces" for £10 for the Genesis G Spins kit to go with the tops. With the £5 replacement inners for the Bihui's over time it should save a fair bit of money.
I bought some the other day to get me out of a hole ,was really impressed 👌
Awesome glad to hear mate! The fact you can place them in after the tile really helps in some situations to!
A ladder would be better.

Hey mate, I haven't used them,, But I know of them.. I'd imagine they are much same maybe just quality being the difference.

Absolutely mate and you'll build up a bit of a collection over time.
Why are they better than the G spin?

Pricey but £5 to replace the inners is reasonable 👍
