God bless them. My husband Jerry and I wanted to be nomad also. Was a big dream for us. He was retired sickly. I retired in 2015. Early for me. We couldn't wait for 65 we just wanted to travel. We was married 46yrs. I lost him in August 😭 2015. I still feel the same way. Well thanks for listening. This couple made me think of my Jerry.
I'm so sorry for your loss😔 I dread the day. My husband of 41 years has got that cancer, and like the woman in the video I love him more each day. He's up a year more so far than doctors thought he'd have. Each day is precious.
Marsha and Jerry have the nicest demeanour. And I love hearing the sounds of their voices. 'Back when we were so poor, he was the entertainment.' I suspect that was probably a time when you also realised how rich you really are - no matter what you have. Amazing!
😃You’re so right! Sometimes I find myself zooming through people’s story so that I can get to the vehicle tour; but, I watched this whole vid and I’m glad I did ... made me smile and feel happy for them.
I fell in love with this wonderful couple. You can tell how devoted they are to each other. He’s the comedian and she allows it by being the straight man. Just adorable people. Thanks for posting this video.
What a precious couple. I could listen to him play that instrument all day. You can tell they truly love each other. It brought tears to my eyes. You don't see that alot with this generation. What a shame.
Omg they are my kind of couple . I love the mandoline, but I am a West Virginia girl. They are down to earth, honest , just lovely very talented human beings. God bless them .❤
'I'm the boss when she's not around' - ha ha! Jerry may just have discovered the secret to a long and happy marriage... Great couple! Thanks for the video.
This will be my first ever comment on TH-cam. I was fortunate enough to meet Jerry and Marsha last winter at Ogilby (American Girl Mine) and also Ehrenberg and Q. It enriched my life immensely. Happy trails y'all! Hope we meet again someday. (Jerry Sanford)
OMG......Cutest couple ever. I love them. To me they represent the best of humanity: simple, loving, gentle, kind, humble, honest, intelligent and with a great sense of humor. They are an inspiration of how to live as a human being.
They are so humble and beautiful souls. Down to earth and you can tell they are so in love with each other. I enjoyed this video so much. Thanks for the smiles 🙂🙂🙂
Now this is what it's all about! This couple are why I'm still looking to change my life. I love how she saw the change and went right along with it. OMG...a Mando too!!! How awesome was that? I wondered if I would be able to stash my guitar in a small van but looks like they don't have a problem. I wish my father had recognized the need to change before he succumbed to Alzheimer's. You guys have a great time and maybe I'll see you in the byway! She said "He spoils me." 3x in this video. Bless'em!
What a wonderful couple! The a/c box that opens when needed for venting out the back is a stroke of genius. This interview left me with a big smile on my face😁. Thanks again Bob!
These lovely people have built themselves about the best lightweight hightop van conversion possible! With the new van and hightop there should be no problems, and having a very reliable travel cabin that will cover many miles over many years, they'll be able to enjoy their travels, meeting fellow travellers, exploring their new campsite locations, and most of all, they'll be doing it together and be healthier, happier and closer for it!
Thank you Jerry and Marsha for sharing your life. Thank you Bob for the interview. Brings a smile to my heart and hope of future travels. Bless you both.
We met Jerry and Marsha in Oakley, KS, when we stopped to check out the. Uffalo Bill statue and information center. They are the kind of people one hopes to meet on the road ! Glad to see they are still traveling and making their van a home on wheels.
They need to be more social media active and networking with other couples and people like themselves; they will be a lot happier, especially her. Being Nomadic is VERY exciting and adventurous :) They are a cute and smart couple; I liked them very much :)
I'm glad they're out there living their dream to see the USA! None of us are promised tomorrow and so when you get that chance to live your dream you should go do it! Happy Travels to Jerry & Marsha!
Out of the videos that I have seen regarding the AC, I really like how he covered the back of the AC outside in the back of the Van. Very well done sir.
Of all of your informative, thoughtful, and inspiring videos, this is my favorite. It fully demonstrates that this alternative lifestyle can be lived anyone. They truly live on their own terms. Thank you Marsha and Jerry. Thank you Bob.
Great to see older people have the courage to be a part of the family of van dwellers. It is very encouraging to me since I’m planning to on the road in about a month as a solo car dweller. Thank you so much for sharing your videos.
Such a delightful couple! Jerry and Marsha are so lovely together. Wonderful job on the van build and Jerry is quite the musician on the Mandolin! Thank you so much for doing the interview and sharing it with us.
What a sweet, sweet couple Bob, God bless you Marsha and Jerry. Be safe and be well. I wish you many more happy years together. Thanks for the interview and tour Bob. 🤗
A lovely couple, both have a gentle and kind attitude toward each other and the lifestyle. Thank you for sharing your beautiful new home with the world!
This couple is so blessed to have each other and be able to do these things together, I pray God will always keep them safe and able to live a long life enjoying their travels. God Bless them ..
What a darling couple..I love his Mississippi accent, and talent...she is calm, happy, and still in love!!!!! Thanks for sharing with us these nomads who inspire so many to get outside and ex plore....
I'm really liking this fella and how he's been able to "decompress" from the pressures of working the job, paying the bills, and raising kids. Both have probably worked steady from the time they lived with their own parents through their time before marriage, after marriage, and all along the way always most likely just getting by financially (money pressures frequently just around the corner). So now they've set themselves up for a well deserved take their time tour of the US (and likely Canada too). Good for them. My sincere best to Jerry and Marsha.
These are WONDERFUL PEOPLE! So open about life on the road, both the good and the complications of van life. And their van is very nice. Thanks for another great video, Bob. 👍 ( Love the mandolin concert! 👍😁
What a sweet couple! More in this relationship than all the celebrity narcissists with money in Hollywood. Great job on travel and survival in your van!
Awesome build but I really like Marsha and Jerry. Very nice people. I wish I met them years ago. I feel like I know them, just my kind of people. Good luck out there and happy trails. Enjoy.

This video I have been trying to find again for quite a while. I love to see and listen to them. They are a great pair. He is very knowledgeable about alot if his build. It was so nice that his son in-law helped him too. Thanks Bob for having this video still available to us. See you on the next one. From Central Oklahoma
Me and my husband are coming out too lol. This was perfect timing. Personally I think we would need at least a shuttle bus lol. We will see what the Lord provides :) Thank you again Bob for all your love care and hard work, I have watched you from almost the beginning. Looking forward to meeting you in person one day !
