      Me too. SDI again showing how much ford left on the table yet again. There is so much untapped potential in that suspension under the Gen3

      Kit coming out soon man. SDI really tapping into the potential of these trucks. Since we filmed this they were able to run smoother and faster thru here.

      Me too. They are working on multiple vehicles. They just finished their Tacoma and 4 runner kits, currently finalizing Gen3 raptor. Maybe the bronco is next.

      @KeepItDirtyOffRoad I am not seeing 23 in their site yet. Only 2017 to 2021.

    • @KeepItDirtyOffRoad
      @KeepItDirtyOffRoad  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Give them a call or shoot them a message. As far as I know the 2021 kit works with any gen3 with the single live valve shocks.

    I really want this suspension into my Ford Expedition

    • @KeepItDirtyOffRoad
      @KeepItDirtyOffRoad  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The expedition uses coil over in the back right? I wonder what would be required to use Raptor Fox Live Valves on all 4 corners of that rig

    • @leocortaza7247
      @leocortaza7247 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@KeepItDirtyOffRoad yeah it's a XLT 08, uses coils in the 4 corners. Maybe a raptor suspension swap and the SDI e-click

    • @KeepItDirtyOffRoad
      @KeepItDirtyOffRoad  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Suspension swap would not work. All the shock mounts would need to be replaced for the all 4 corners and a new solution and arms and everything would be needed for the rear. Would be a huge problem but would make for a killer rig

    If i didnt need to redo so much suspension work ie: deavers, shackels, geisers or eibachs, and having to stay oe shocks etc (darn budget limit 😂) id love some eclicks.

    • @KeepItDirtyOffRoad
      @KeepItDirtyOffRoad  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you have live valves? If so, they have programs to account for the upgrades.

    Hmmmm making rethink getting a Gen 3!
    After talking to SDI today I am looking for a 2020 Gen 2 so I don't have to hunt for Live Valve Shocks for 2017 Avalanche Grey Gen 2. Is there a time line for when they will be done with Gen 3?

    • @KeepItDirtyOffRoad
      @KeepItDirtyOffRoad  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They should be ready to launch the Gen3 solution by Oct - Nov this year. They are currently developing the custom tune for the shocks for those that want more performance.
      gen2 raptor solution is out now.

  • @brnloveless
    @brnloveless 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I have another question for you that I hope you have an answer for my 2013 raptor leans to the left but I installed brand new suspension and leaf springs my last 2013 did not do that but it was brand new?

    • @KeepItDirtyOffRoad
      @KeepItDirtyOffRoad  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      A slight lean to the driver side could be because of the gas tank. 36 gallons is heavy and on the driver side
      But if it’s more noticeable it could be springs or shocks. Or worse, bent components or frame. So many possibilities

      @@KeepItDirtyOffRoad yah that’s what I was thinking

  • @lmccol8122

    That's a great comparison video. But, I would like to see a comparison video showing the stock Gen 3, with the suspension setting on "sport" rather than "baja", or "normal" mode. I heard the Gen 3 has a tendency to over compensate more in "baja" mode, than it does in "stock" mode. Please show a comparison with the gen 3 in "sport" mode. It would also be great to see the same comparison with a 37PP truck, as well.
    Thanks for the info.

    • @KeepItDirtyOffRoad
      @KeepItDirtyOffRoad  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We have that video up on the channel when we compared the Gen3 to the Gen2 SDI.
      Sport is the worst mode to use offroad in the Gen3. It’s the most twitchy and rough ride offroad because it’s design for stiff on-road driving.
      Even Gen2s with Live valves had the same problem. Sport mode on my 2020 was rough offroad and found myself in normal or baja2wd more than anything.
      17-18 Gen2s sport mode is the sweet spot for sure. But not on Live Valve trucks

    • @lmccol8122
      @lmccol8122 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the reply!
      I was thinking that sport mode would be best, in a lot of off road situations. Based off of what the EXO guys had to say in this video, at the 4:00 mark, about Baja mode being too harsh.
      th-cam.com/video/YFqo_1DRM7Y/w-d-xo.html
      I'm looking forward to eventually going with the E click system, once my Gen 3 finally gets here..... and having them rebuild my shocks, when needed.

  • @MRFEENIE
    @MRFEENIE 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Do they have a system for ram 2500?

    • @KeepItDirtyOffRoad
      @KeepItDirtyOffRoad  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not only do they have a system, they worked with Carli to develop it. And they blew away the Carlo guys with the extra capability and they now added the SDI system to their kits

  • @johnlexus1
    @johnlexus1 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    That Clic system is so good, does it improve road comfort or just offroad??
    Do you plan on making a carli suspension vid? Many claims a Rebel with Carlis is better than a Raptor.
    Cheers

    • @KeepItDirtyOffRoad
      @KeepItDirtyOffRoad  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That’s the best part of the system. It improved on road performance too. We are on offroad channel so we focus on the offroad, but on the streets the truck stays flatter with far less body roll in sport and creates a nice comfy ride when you want it.
      I’ve heard that claim as well. But very few Carli guys ever show up to trails so that we can compare. Would love to shoot a Carli truck one day to find out. The physics don’t lie. Carli focuses on larger, heavier 2500 trucks. At some point the extra 3,000 lbs are going to catch up with them.
