    What a gem! You all find the best hideaways. Looks perfect since you can choose to be alone or party the night away. Costa Rica looks like my perfect vacation!

      @StNickTravels I have a couple questions
      1. Are there crocodiles on the beaches
      2. Do you recommend checking for snakes in the restroom of the resort
      3. How safe are the jungle excursions ( as far as poisonous reptiles, spiders, bugs, Jaguars etc.)
      Just trying to get a heads up for myself and the group I'll be vacationing with.

    • @StNickTravels
      @StNickTravels  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It is completely safe! No crocodiles on the beaches and no need to check for snakes in your room. You will occasionally see bugs or spiders deep in the jungle but unlikely to see any reptiles and definitely no jaguars!

    Great video ! I’m looking to go here in July . For room selection , I see there are a few rooms listed under the preferred club . Which room did you all stay in ? Was it the bungalow suite ocean view or possibly ocean front view ?

    • @StNickTravels
      @StNickTravels  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wonderful, I'm sure you'll love it!
      We booked the more basic room and were upgraded so I am not 100% sure but I would guess it was the ocean front because there were no rooms between us and the ocean! I really think any of their ocean view rooms would be great though as the property does a great job of sectioning off the rooms to create a private feeling.
      Enjoy your trip!

    I have a question about the rooms. Are they 2 or 3 stories where you have to climb stairs to get to your room. We have mobility issues.

    • @StNickTravels
      @StNickTravels  ปีที่แล้ว

      The rooms themselves are just one story but some rooms do have a hill or some stairs to get to them. I feel certain that the staff would accommodate you if you asked them for a room that is more central and in a flat area!

    Great video! Thank you for the in-depth video :) We are deciding between this resort and the planet Hollywood across the bay! Question, I’ve noticed in a few videos I’ve watched, no one is ever in the ocean/bay. Do you know if there a reason for this? Thank you so much!!

    • @StNickTravels
      @StNickTravels  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you so much! In regard to the beach, we did see people in it throughout our stay, mostly on kayaks or paddle boards. They just have a few loungers on the beach which we used but they have great views of the water from just above the beach so there were many more setup there.
      I think because it is a black sand beach, it maybe isn't as clear as some places, but the water was a nice temperature and very calm since it is tucked away.
      We found the beach to be quite unique!

    Thanks for the vid. Is tipping similar to mexico? USD ?

    • @StNickTravels
      @StNickTravels  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, very similar! USD are widely accepted in Costa Rica and I think that is what we/everyone used throughout the resort.
      Enjoy the adventure and let us know if you have any other questions!

      Is this the preferred ocean front room?

    • @StNickTravels
      @StNickTravels  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there! You are going to have such an amazing time! We were there in October which is considered the rainy season. I think we had two days where we had some rain but it usually moved in and left quick. Otherwise it was quite sunny! I think December would be lovely!
      We booked the standard room but I believe we received an upgrade to an ocean front because we had unobstructed views of the ocean.
      Let us know if you have any other questions and enjoy!

    Since it rains so much, are the pools heated?

    • @StNickTravels

      I don't believe they are but with the humidity and sun it was plenty warm! We got in the pool even in the evenings.

    Question- What room category did you have Bungalow Ocean Front or Oceanview. Also what is the month that you visited?

    • @StNickTravels
      @StNickTravels  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      This was just an Ocean View but we think they gave us the best room in that category so there weren't any other rooms between us. The way the property is setup though, it seems like a majority of rooms have nice views and feel isolated (in a good way) among the environment.
      We visited in mid-October of 2022!

      @StNickTravels  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@JourneysOFAprilRain Room 104! No noise issue at all from the theater. The theater was pretty isolated itself so I'm not sure if any room would have a problem with that.

    How do you upgrade and become part of the preferred group?

    • @StNickTravels
      @StNickTravels  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We are not really sure why we were upgraded so perhaps just lucky and it was low season. If you definitely want to be in a preferred / club room, you should be able to pay for it as an upgraded room class to guarantee it.
      Have a great trip!
