Definetly not a rip off, very resilient EPP foam, automatic gyro stability for beginners. Flys for 15minutes on 1 battery. If your getting into RC planes this is the one or the 450mm top RC warbirds. Same technology in the Eachine and top RC planes. Also not 100 pounds more like 80. No other plane can top this one for the size and price mate!
