Carl takes his Flightline Spitfire out for its first flight. He nails this maiden flight because it needs no trimming for straight and level flight. Gives us some low passes and gentle aerobatics before nailing a three point landing. Great job !

Good demo of a perfect maiden and excellent footage dominic I've had mine for over 2 years with over 300 flights and she still puts a smile on my face every time I fly her 👍

I just maidened mine last week and I've been out 3 times, 20+ flights so far just can't get enough! My maiden was similar, on take-off it was a bit too much climb, i tapped the elevator trim 4 clicks I think, and that was it. Just such a great flyer and now I think it has me hooked on 6s and this scale!
Well done Carl, flew it superbly. I also own one of these and for anyone interested I can confirm they really do fly as well as Carl said. Mine also required no trim on its maiden and flew smoothly, scale and effortlessly. There are some models I'll never part, and this is one of them.
We'll have to get the whole Spitfire squadron up in the air next Sprint Adrian !

Finally someone put a 4 bladed prop on a flying Spitfire IX. Why do most people use two bladed props?
The less blades the prop has the more efficient it is so cheaper as dont need such a huge motor

SPIT ROATS HOG OVER THE FLAMES. MY RUNWAY LOOKS LIKE THE HIMALAYAS. CLOSEST THING TO A SPIT ROAST IS A BANANA

A proper look-over of the plane and its features - what's that blinking light ? - would be more helpful than banter.

is there a video on how to setup the control surfaces and receiver? im having trouble with those.
Depends on what radio system you are using buddy?! Best to get help from someone local.
Hello is there any assistance mode on this model like gyroscope ?
It does not come with a gyro but you could buy one. Plenty of gyros out there.

i’m thinking of purchasing this and installing an OS LA46 2 stroke in it, would this be possible?
I think it would be very challenging to fit it and make it look good. Better to get something designed for an engine.
