Still amazes me how much these cars are worth now. Back in the late 70's when I was a kid mom and dad bought cars like this for $600 used in Mint condition. They were considered a "Used car" you can find anywhere. Nova's and Impala's mainly. That's all dad ever bought. Nova or Impalas. I remember 3 impala's and 4 Novas we had when I was a kid during about 9 years. Car gave you problems, get rid of it buy another used one. All over the place. I guess the value is, these are "Survivors". Back in the days when these were made if you got 6 years out of it before it rusted out, you were lucky. When you had 70,000 miles, it was time for a new engine. If you got 1000 miles without having to add a quart of oil you were lucky. If you didn't hit the gas and see blue smoke behind you, you were lucky. Nice to see these Survivors. I wish Auto Makers would make new cars with style like these old cars. Not this "European Style" stuff

The Impala convertibles were awesome. I don't know why GM stopped making the Impala convertible in '72 I think. If car manufacturers ever want to make a car comeback over the suv start producing the convertible again. I miss them !
Being someone from Florida I have a soft spot for the donk type Impala I'm against big rims on almost anything else it kills me when they put it on a muscle car this one looks sweet even though I want it I wouldn't be caught dead driving it I'm old and white.lol
Well I'm not shocked at the plethora of comments 😂😂. This Impala does look good! You're right about the rims, they definitely fit the car! They're not gaudy or overbearing! If I could afford it, I would definitely own it!!

Nick Ive owned every type of chev from 40s all the way up. And owned a bodyshop for over 40 years and I have built ground up cars. This one is nice. And looks to be a solid car.
Nice car,nice price…Nick just overlook some of the goofy comments on the car itself..that car has a whole culture behind it…despite what others think,an original caprice/impala years 71 73 n 75 will NOT sit on your lot pass 2wks guaranteed…great vid!!

I would probably get hurt or killed, or have to hurt or kill one of these fools in jacksonville florida over this car. Some jackass would try to steal it because they're too sorry to work and buy their own. But, I digress. I too am not a fan of these wheels, a nice set of 8 inch rally wheels would be perfect for this car. Wheels or not though, this is still a very sharp ride.

My Grandma had a 71 impala 2 dr sport nice car it got tolded out back in 1980 when I was a kid insurance company took care of it got a 72 Caprice with a small block 400 V8 lurxry
Man i love that van. I would put a hidden queen bed in it and drive across country. Oh yeah my entertainment center would be nice but i would travel my tail off because I have never traveled the country but hopefully the lord will let me one day.
When they start seeing me in Nashville I can guarantee you that they will be busy selling cars. I love cars...not any particular brand name. I just love cars and love to clean them.

It's missing curb feelers, fur interior and superfly headlight covers. Other then that it is right up there with the green one you could not sell for 4 months.
