I'm a maple motor subscriber over 5yrs now love watching the test drive videos! At least Nick honest most car lots tell you no flaws hats off to him great lot
I am so glad you did this video. I was recently watching one episode of you in California and was thinking I wish she would go to Tennessee and cover Maple Motor Company and here you are. Thank you 🙏
I lived by this place in 07, they legit have a museum out front everyday. I stopped several times just to look, as far as I remember everyone was very nice and glad to answer any questions I had. It's good to see you guys are atill around.
Classic cars are going for what a buyer is willing to pay... seriously I purchased 4 months ago at Maple Motors a 1971 Chevelle with a SS setup still a clone but had the S&S package. it was 1 off 3 on the front row, in December 2023. I chose the 1971 with the 454, I watched the video scrutinize the video 6 times I could see the visuals under carriage and the interior, I processed what's under the hood - aluminum heads Eldebrock Victor Jr intake intake manifold - 750 quick fuel carb - electric radiator fan - American race wheels M/T tires, Upon receiving it I pulled the brake drums it had Yukon chrome moly race axles - Yukon Locker posi-tract chrome moly limited slip rear-end with 4.11-T pinion shaft packed into the 12 bolt rear-end, 3 speed horseshoe 350 turbo transmission in the center console with a 3,000 rpm torque converter, with a lock switch set-up of which locks up the torque converter released by brake switch for intown driving. Basically a lot of love went into this classic car by the previous owner in this 1971 Chevelle Pro-Street Car, The previous owner did the main share of adding or replacing parts like 3 new inner fenders, front floor pans, new interior and headliner, SS dash and new fuel tank, figure the owner did all this work back in 2015, how did I know this ? Research... little tid bits showing when the work was done, sure there was some finish work touch-up paint to do, but not a problem for me, we fixed up what wasn't working... I knew investing another $3,000.00 over what I paid them for it, would bring it into what I would invision it's worth and selling value... having great interior not hacked up... a built 454- 4 bolt main full race engine with with good internals big Lunati 240-252/575-575 lift@108 LSA full race aluminum heads 1.6 rockers Moral Lifters. bored to a 468 drag car... now after going through the car compared all this to what I would have paid for here close to home it would be a $39,000.00 to $40,000.00 car here in Oregon I came out ahead paying 33,500.00 investing 3,000.00 and still having fun
Wow, where did all the hate come from? Yes, some cars need work, some more than others. Are you mad because you cant afford one? Im not in a spot to be able to buy, but love watching the videos regardless. Want a car that doesnt need work, mint condition, go to a Barrett Jackson auction, and pay those prices. Maple Motors, love the videos, and the cars, keep it up!
Anyone looking at these cars has to have some knowledge of what they’re getting into because of their age. It’s a matter of doing your research on what you’re looking for as some people have their personal mechanics look at what they’re buying. Just check out the videos and go from there. Nice selection of cars to get into!👍👍
I guess anytime you buy a used vehicle there is a chance something may not be right , now you put a classic in the mix and of course there will be problems but to see something in one piece running and driving is definitely the best start anyone can wish for, thanks for watching and welcome to my channel!
Just stumbled across this ! Way to go Nick! World wide ! Ranas Radar, thanks for recognizing Maple Motors. Been watching them for a couple of years now. Always look forward to Monday's now. Never really liked them!
I watch Maple Motors all the time, had 1967 Chevelle red with black vinle roof, 396, 375 HP balanced and blue printed engine in it, what a hoot to drive, should have kept it, now have a reg cab zr1 1993 Silverado 30 years old now as my muscle truck stepside
It´s a great start to the day to look and dream of owning one of these wonderful unique cars one day. Thanks Rana for as always an interesting car video.
Personally I would rather buy a real project car. These are lipstick jobs, with many hidden issues. So buying one of these means you pay a premium then end up stripping it and then restore it. A rear project car can be found for far less money and you can easily see up front what needs repaired. In the end, restoring a rear project car would be a lot cheaper in the long run.
I noticed he's been showing more lower cost projects lately. Actually somebody named Elaine who is totally off base is the reason why I'm stating my original comment. These are some great people. They come through some health situations as well. But when I brought up how great these people were my comment disappeared. As far as the prices I think on some of these things they're a bit high. But obviously people are willing to pay them. Obviously they're not paying the prices that they're selling them for. So he knows where to buy them cheaper like some of the rest of us do. And the number of cars that he sells is just outstanding. Now this way Elaine cannot bad mouth anybody and she won't have to be thrown under the bus figuratively speaking. Which when she was talking about me and being thrown under the bus she didn't mention the word figuratively. But that's TH-cam for you. I don't think it was the host of this particular interview. I did not catch your name. But regardless of what I think of the price is if you went out to hunt and the expense to hunt down a particular car that he would have already at Maple motors. I do believe you'd have more involved in the hunt as far as cost and what you could possibly save. I enjoy looking at the cars and he demonstrates.
I really did consider it to be honest! But I do want to drive this and I live in suburbia so hopefully one day with some land I could have a big block with a blower
Everything is a Project there ! Nick has a bet going to see if things work or not ! They simply polish the Turd and talk it up , but at the end of the day its still a pile of $H1T .
Hey mate my name is Keith from Australia. I forgot all about tellen you guys.till now but I was watching you do a yard walk around n you had a yellow with nova I think up the back to the left of your office sliding door n in the back ground I was looking at it n the windscreen review mirror MOVED n three was NO ONE in the car😮
Hey, see a lot of whiners on here but you know you get what you pay for and you should expect to have to do work on old classic cars that’s the fun of it
He just admitted that their mark up is more than the $2-3000 that he says they only get. If you only pay $20,000 per car the lot price wouldn't be over $30,000!!!! I would say they are about $10,000 to $15,000 over priced for what the buyer is getting! Either that or they are negotiating the price for alot less than the windshield price!!!!!
⁉️However, one huge issue, regardless of condition (unless a true rust bucket) ALL muscle and classic cars NEED to be protected from the weather, PERIOD!!! These cars easily start the rusting process if sitting outside, it’s unavoidable unless they’re protected. Not even a cheap canopy? But thank you for sharing a great video
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I don’t think these cars stay in the lot for too long but absolutely I hear what you mean and hopefully others can understand and keep their beloved classics sheltered.
So I've tried to enjoy this video but just like the Joe Martin video only worse is the audio is terrible especially on this video. Can't hear a single word you say. In Joe's video I can hear him but not you. Fix it THEN maybe I'll subscribe
All auction flip cars ..janky builds sold for 10x cost. They buff them, put cheap wheels and tires on them and flip them to rubes. Only fools think this place has good deals and is reputable. Good news for them Is that fools in the car scene are abundant.

Well said!
Maple motors do price their vehicles below others. But most need work.. few are turn key.. good canvases to build to ones liking.
I am so glad you did this video. I was recently watching one episode of you in California and was thinking I wish she would go to Tennessee and cover Maple Motor Company and here you are. Thank you 🙏
So happy to read this, trying to cover everything you viewers would find interesting and classics for sale is always a hot topic !

It does feel like a museum with all the cars out front, but yes still around and I don’t think they’re going anywhere, very nice family.
Your gold necklace is very beautiful.🎉

Hey Thanks Nick for bringing us these Beautiful old cars in one place ! Ppl gripe about the cars, shouldnt own one ! 👍

Understandable I myself run a worked 302 Windsor in a xy ute goes hard was a daily untill prices tripled and now drive it sparingly .
If you travel to NC and like auctions, there is one being held 25-27 April. Greensboro Auto Auction. Thanks Nic for Mecum tip.
Those people sell junkers usually bondo buckets
Lmao almost all of these cars were bondo buckets 40 years ago.
Damn i wouldn't mind having that Imperial
Great video! Will you be at LS Fest in bowling green? Ill be going I am super excited for what we have planned this year !!!
Shoudl be fun but I won’t be there Triple Crown of Rodding is on!!
It's Blue!
I see purple 😆
Clearly blue.
being olskool, it hurts me to see these cars with LS motors,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Everything You sell is a project car! 3/4 the stuff you feature on test drives have many things that dont work🤔
Aren’t all classics projects that need fixing, some more than others
Isn't that part of the fun? Owners are usually gearheads that don't just buy a perfect classic and simply drive it around
They would be Double that Price if it all worked Brother !
Project Motors 😂
Buy here
Fix it at your home 😂
I agree with you. Air specialties what I would call light repairable vehicles.
You are in my Radar, ı fallov you ! ❤😅😊
33;25 just put a little more Bondo in and it be fine
I had to fast forward to the '57 Imperial. I thought it was under $6k.
Are these Bondo rides or do they have steel sheet metal?
Just wondering do you have a dealer around Fredericksburg va
Hello , hello !!!! CHEERS from HUNGARY !!! GO NICK GO !!!!
Hello! Welcome!
Hey sorry it's 3 days later but did you guys get rid of that old javelin

Is there a video on the toyota
They do have several vehicles that are pretty decent not all are project cars or project trucks
I saw heaps of cars that were ready to drive out and not be used as projects
We're are you located state and town
If you all knew what I & others know about these people, you wouldn't give them one second of your time. I've been in Nashville since the 60's.
What did they do?
Heaven let u light Shine down.
